ACS'es and monster hordes aren't opposites and they can be combined. The ACS'es is used in the start to get you into it (interactive briefing), during level in small amounts to mark places of great importance. (After at last finding the crucial keycard. After killing the big badass). As small tricks/secrets a machine you have to operate in order to achieve something. Between those ACS'es there is plenty of room for good ol-school action.)

Having ACS heavy maps + regular themed Doom maps is a very hard thing to do. Yeah the MassMouth maps would be pretty crappy without scripts, but they were never meant to be played without scripts, so you can't really say that sort of thing.

I don't get what you mean by 'the idea is just stupid' however. What idea? The idea that I edit levels for a 5 year old game? The idea that I edit levels to please no one but myself? I don't do any of this stuff which I do to make other people happy. I edit levels because I enjoy it, and I enjoy how other people like them. I update DN because I enjoy it, same with DD and my regular page. Don't even begin to talk about my personal life though. You have no clue that I have 'too much free time'. I have a steady job which I'm at anywhere from 12-22 hours per week, I hang out with friends (going to meet them in an hour in fact), I participate in a few after school things, the only thing I really see that I don't do is watch a lot of TV (usually an hour a day or so). When I do have free time I do something which I enjoy.
Fine, you didn't like Massmouth, that doesn't bother me one bit. You can't please all of the people all of the time, but next time try to stick to the goddamned thread topic.

Dear Mr. Cyb, I think that what PennyWise tried to say (and he said it pretty well IMO) was that he didn't like the idea of the Mass Mouth character. And that the "you have too much free time" part simply means that your wad totally sucked. End of story. BTW, of course he doesn't know how much (or little) free time you have, you dork! :) It was sort of a joke. But do you give a rats ass? Of course you don't 'cause you're Cyb! So there.
