People who create great, original levels which don't require special ports are sometimes more creative than those that do require special ports. This is because original doom lacks the stunning new effects introduced by the ports. This leads to authors being forced to create fun and original levels without special features. Sometimes I like zdoom levels and sometimes I want to play original doom-type levels like this TC. It's all an opinion of what is more fun to play. If you think that TCs are simple to create and release in a few months, then go and try to make one yourself.
