  1. No need to stall it how about this; Compile what we have as a RC then I am sure a few of us can get the rest of the maps in and release more RC versions; once the summer is over we could have all the maps tested/updates then go for the release once you get back. No point of trying to rush things and it wouldn't be like people can't try it out I think it would be worth the extra time to ensure a properly polished project. Set the date for May 1'st that should gives lots of time for someone to take on a map and even finish it before you go. In the meantime we will just polish and playtest it all. We should also set a deadline for unfinished maps to be at least submit unfinished to check progress on them or have others finish the maps. Unsubmitted maps at this point should just consider that person cut from the project then see who wants to take up the slot. Let the other guys who already put in big efforts and have time and interest look after things until you get back. I think this solution opens the door to completion and will let go of a lot of stress for yourself. Like I said we shouldn't rush.
  2. Smoking weed for most regular smokers is all about enjoying smoking it! That is primary enjoyment getting high is just a secondary effect.

  4. I don't really know what you would need to do this makes no sense when there is better ways do whatever is you need to do.
  5. I thought I used excessive vert's at times but this is just overkill! More than 50 percent of those verts would make no difference lol.
  6. I really liked Sunder when it was first released but then the maps just got stupid and lost enjoyment viability.
  7. Honestly this would make a great community project; everyone submit maps based on all your bad habits; give it a catchy name like "Knee Deep In Bad Habits". My bad habit; smoking weed while mapping.
  8. I will give you some insight into this map! It was made very early on in development I believe 2011 or 2012; when I was building this map at that time I put a lot of focus into how the demons subverted UAC technology. Now I didn't do any updates to this map myself after submission all those years ago and Xaser made a bunch of great changes. I think he really saw into how the design was and just went from there and brought things up to where they should be. The drill room did look a lot different in the submission map I didn't really think a lot about it at the time and when I saw it again it looked a lot better with the updates that were made. The idea in this area is the UAC drilled too deep into hell and released them; MAP 23 wasn't created until after Solitude was released so for a taste of continuity they threw in the drill to show that it goes deep and you are now below the last map.

  10. You wouldn't be able to stand on it directly when played in stock doom2.exe since things are infinitely tall.
