RAVEN MIDI Pack II - Breathing Life Into "Deathkings"

imposter syndrome is a real problem. i've been having a real hard time convincing myself that i'm not actually worse than every other musician in this community and it's been a real deathblow to my creative output this year. -
i love ssd. i've completed it three times recently. there's just something about the design of it that appeals to me greatly. i'm a huge TUD fan and once played through all of serpent resurrection using every single class and i'd probably do it again at some point.

What was your first violent video game and where did you play it?
Varis Alpha replied to gayzad's topic in Everything Else
Doom Shareware when i was 4 or so. i wasn't really allowed to play it at first but eventually my parents decided to let me play it alongside other games such as Quake 2 and Unreal. -

i'm terribly sorry, i haven't got anything done this past month, much less working on this project. i'm pulling out my claimed slot for this. -
played it on a shovelware disc when i was 4 or so years old even though i wasn't allowed to do so. eventually i was allowed to play it and got to play other games such as quake 2, unreal and dark forces 1 and 2. some years later i got the doom collector's edition, but it wasn't until late 2000s when i discovered doom mods were a thing and got hooked ever since.

i haven't forgotten about this, but i can't say i've been actively working on anything. not just for this project, but just in general. i'm gonna give myself a month to try and get some work done on this, but if i don't get anything done by March, i'll just release my slot for someone else. -
the game itself may not be strictly using ai generated assets, but the ceo is all for generative ai usage, so if you support palworld, you're also directly supporting the whims of someone who thinks positive about it. https://twitter.com/invert_x/status/1748495038898942380?t=38rnnVqeD5Cjvk6HWJQq6Q&s=33 aside from that garbage, the game itself looks like a bog standard survival game, but now you can capture funny creatures in spheres that can also use guns, so that makes people look past all these other issues. i'd say skip this one, it's not got much staying power aside from the funny memes.

Is the Doom series REALLY blessed with good OST's?
Varis Alpha replied to Kwisior's topic in Doom General
if you don't like doom music then you're not a real doomer i think i like doom 1's music more than doom 2 but they're both pretty good. tnt is good but some of the tracks are extremely loud and kind of drown out everything else. aubrey hodges music is some of the best dark ambient music ever conceived. doom 3 lol. doom 2016 is fantastic, eternal is kind of mid, i like some of the ambient pieces a lot but the heavier tracks aren't really as heavy as 2016's were. -
what was doomworld like in the early 2000s and early 2010s?
Varis Alpha replied to Johnny Cruelty's topic in Everything Else
there definitely were people talking shit about furries back then from what i remember. i don't recall being too open about it back then because of this, it's definitely a more healthy community now. -
you can disable the attract demo in the options if you'd rather have the music playing.

sorry for bumping this thread, but i've been having the same issue here and i have no idea how to fix it. i'm using a headphone amp with a Scarlett 2i4 and i've turned spatial audio off for the device i'm using and it doesn't seem to do anything.

Bethesda adds Base Ganymede as official expansion to Doom?
Varis Alpha replied to Hellbent's topic in WAD Discussion
i don't know what offers is given to everyone, but when i was involved in one project, there was a choice between getting a challenge coin, gift card (only for US residents) and a wire transfer. i chose the coin because i thought it was the neater option overall, the wire transfer required a lot of legal paperwork to go through. given the value of the gift card and wire transfer, i'd imagine the value of "just" the coin would potentially be quite high if you were deciding to sell it. -
