  1. I think I will give this a shot. @Cutman First Map Choice: Plutonia MAP24 Second Map Choice: TNT MAP31 Desired Map Slot: MAP15
  2. One thing that is of concern from these threads that has been briefly mentioned in this thread is how they can "slide" other threads off of the first page. This normally wouldn't be so much of a big deal (unless it's full-blown forum sliding), but with the search function being as broken as it has been for the entirety of this year thus far, I imagine some new threads with a legitimate purpose may fade away into obscurity because people can't find them again. I imagine that this problem has only gotten worse throughout the months since there is a growing backlog of unsearchable threads and posts from this year.
  3. Not very much; one-chip OPL is too limited and ruins some midis. Static limits were also meant to be broken.
  4. Cybercrime 3 Legendary CTF That's all I can remember at the moment except for what Decay suggested.
  5. I can't tell if this is just copypasta or what. On a more serious note, if a difficulty is too... difficult, there's others to choose from.
  6. Well, there's Zandronum-specific/Skulltag-specific packs and then there are packs that are compatible with Zandronum. For Zandronum-specific/Skulltag-specific stuff there's All Fear the Sentinel Deathmatch, Dynamite Deathmatch, Sabbat Martyr, MSDuel, Lazarus DM, Progduel, FastDM, SpaceDM9, Ragnarok DM, QC:DE, Eon DM, CEMP, IGPack, and more (I'm trying not to mention/shill anything I worked on, but there some that I am sure I am missing from this list) For Zandronum-compatible stuff there's basically a good chunk of Duel40b (more than the same 3-5 maps that get played over and over), Brit10/Brit11, Exec, Greenwar and Greenwar2, a good part of the 32-in-24 series, UDM3/UDMX, all of Arrowhead's DM/Duel maps (I think), Onslaught 2/3, CGI, Cybercrime3, UptightDM, and if you really want to go towards the bottom of the barrel there's the Dwango series (and also more) (These lists are not exhaustive)
  7. Sorry, I'll stick to nuts.wad since the author of that didn't tell everyone to get fucked.
  8. It is in the spirit of DWANGO, which lifted maps out of other wads without modification (other than replacing the music).
  9. Thankfully, my coursework is finished so I am able to dedicate more of my time towards working on maps. I've been working hard on MAP08; there is still plenty to do, but thankfully much of the layout is complete. Here is some of what I have been working on as of late!
  10. The secret exit is there. I hope you like pixel hunting! :)
  11. Generally, the primary way casual deathmatch is going to be played is if it is organized ahead of time such as for an event like the long-dead Friday Night Fragfest on Skulltag/Zandronum (rest in peace). To be fair, though, public deathmatch has lost its charm with communities becoming more disconnected and fragmented as it is way more fun to play deathmatch with a closed group of friends than with a group of randoms (at least in my opinion). I think deathmatch is way less dead and still has more potential, though, than classic 1v1/duel, but the latter mode is usually only played nowadays by the same few dinosaurs who only want to play the same damn 3-5 maps and who only whine about new maps.
  12. I like snow because I like the Greenland Ice Sheet and the Antarctic Ice Sheet and how they decrease the amount of energy absorbed by the Earth.
  13. did you only make an account to post a shitty map
