  8. Currently compiling last year's project and it seems that I need to introduce a new rule: If you're mapping for ZDoom or GZDoom, please do not submit in pk3 format. The compilation has to be in wad format for other source ports and I have to unpack every single pk3 I get in their entirety so they can be included, which can throw up some unique (and rather irritating) bugs. Gracias. 👍

I just went ahead and fixed them up for you anyway, heh: thankfully SLADE has a maintainence tool that replaces textures and flats for you, so I just swapped out the duplicates for their IWAD counterparts. The raising switch bug is still in there, but like you said it's not a biggie and I didn't wanna risk screwing up the node structure in your map by going in there and trying to bugfix it myself.
  10. It's a very cool map indeed, got a good aesthetic. I do however have some issues that I'd like to bring to @Ninehills42's attention. I noticed what seems to be a new palette in your submission, which I'll have to remove so it doesn't affect the other maps: not a biggie, just figured you should know. I also noticed duplicates of IWAD textures that I can't quite discern the purpose of. Are they different in any way to their IWAD counterparts? And this one's more of a general bug report: the switch in the arena can be pressed while it's lowered into the surrounding platform, which causes it to bug out somewhat.
  11. This is a very minor point, but bear in mind that the Dead Lost Soul shares its obituary with the regular Lost Soul in ports that support it. Like I said, very minor. :P
  12. That's about the size of it, yeah. It's a little inelegant, but I reckon it keeps within the spirit of the project.

  14. To be honest I didn't consider the possibility of collabs for this project: I don't think it's ever happened before, haha. Hmmm...it depends on the amount of work each individual did on the map, I think. If the two of you evenly shared the load then I think that should count as a submission from the both of you, but if one mapper did more work than the other then the result can be attributed to them instead. I reckon that's fair.

  17. @DoctorNuriel There's 2 spots in your map with what looks to be deliberately untextured walls: are those intentional?
  18. @Thelokk, would you still like your map to be removed from the project? Just want to double-check. @Dreamskull Getting to this a bit late, but unfortunately I can't include your map on account of it being for TNT: one of the few rules for this project is that your submission has to be for the Doom 2 IWAD, I'm afraid.
