Interesting... Most colleges don't do evening classes, as far as I'm aware...

Cybersecurity -- that sounds like a blast! :-D

many business classes are actually designed to have the option for people who are going to school while holding a job to come there in the evening. many companies offer tuition reimbursement for people taking business classes, so people will work their job and then go to school after. it's more a program-centered thing than anything.

the only reason I chose cybersecurity was due to an auditing class I took in the spring. internal control is a huge thing now that companies put their accounting and other financial info into computerized systems. therefore, cybersecurity seemed like a pretty logical choice to go from there instead of doing a master's of accountancy like everyone else does. diversity of skill tends to make you more desirable in the job market.

I think security is just a good thing to study anyway.  The computer security class I took was easily one of the best classes I had in college, even if the math was a bit over my head.  I still thumb through my Applied Cryptography book from time to time.
