Overall a somewhat interesting experience, with the novelty of the megawad sort of waning around the middle but being carried by mapper quirkiness (particularly that one part in The Pit) and some interesting re-interpretations of "Doom 2 maps in reverse".

(starts at about 20:15 into the video) So yeah, DON'T ignore the arrow on map 1 unless you like being killed by a mean-spirited crusher hovering over some inviting powerups. Thanks 90's mapping, you sure are blind-friendly at times...

So what happened to this project then? Was scrolling through some of my bookmarked recommendations for Doom wads to play in the future, and noticed this one seems to have been quiet for 2 years.

Although my Ironman League run this month was very poor, I thankfully made up for it by surviving this interesting mid-90's wad for the Ironeagle. Wouldn't really call this a difficult mapset but more of an enjoyable romp through "90's mapping" stuff, albeit the good kind for the most part. Hearing a piano version of the "Das Boot" theme was enjoyable.
