Every now and then I make an ill-advised flippant post in some thread I don't really care about. It always turns around to bite me; because my notifications are useless for weeks afterwards. Unfollowing the thread is no use; following but setting to "don't notify me", likewise. If someone likes my post, it goes in notifications. And I can't delete the post.
