Level 31 is a softlock because the yellow is tagged as multiplayer only. Also most of the new textures look like shit.

Well I think vanilla doom has really good geometry already, considering its a 1993 game. If anything more could be included that wouldn't be too much for early 90s computers, it would be something like portals in Duke Nukem.

That reminds me of another fun fact about the press release, the episode 2 and 3 levels are swapped. E3M5 is E2M5 and E2M2 is E3M2. They were probably following the doom bible with the moonbase > hell > corrupted moonbase story. This could possibly explain why the spiderdemon has less health that the cyberdemon, because it was not intended to be the final boss.

Yeah that level is like a "my first map" from 1994.

I agree but I think the cutoff is after episode 2. There's a a major lack of Romero and Hall levels plus the Spiderdemon is kind of a disappointment.

Freedoom has some things drawn by Eriance already so these monsters could definitely be added. There's a few more Eriance/Amuscaria monsters in there like the Overlord and Hades Elemental that could be the Iron Lich.

In Tricks and Traps, all of the steps in this room use STEP2 as their texture, except one which uses BROWNHUG. Once you see it you can't unsee it.
