  2. This mod is not intended to be played with Target Spy so I don't have any reason to make it compatible, up to the user if they want, and yes, the player is supposed to be able to use crouching. Big Cross is a secret item, look for certain blocks in ceilings... SubBible... well, play the game on Blood Moon difficulty and find out

Well, all I can say about this is that i intentionally gave Phobos that name not just as a cheeky reference but also to make it clear (if it wasn't already) that this is a different continuity (or dimension if you prefer in the game's terms) from regular Doom and any of the official games, a lot of people tend to assume that Doomguy is just Flynn Taggart so I thought this would come out as kind of a shocker. Phobos as a character in Q3 arena was always a fascinating character to me because of his bio, so I kinda wanted to elaborate a bit on that and giving it my own spin, I also wanted an antagonist that just wasn't a regular Demon just to shake things up and make them a bit different, I hope people will enjoy how things will play out when the mod will come out!

I'd also like to nominate The Thing You Can't Defeat by @YourOpinionsAreWRONG The concept is not new and it could've been really easy to pull just a cheap scary wad to ride on the Caretaker/Gets Uncanny etc meme bandwagon, but the author manages to perfectly encapsule the concept in a subtle yet frightening way by presenting you familiarity and then twisting, corrupting it. It doesn't use any assets other than the original Doom's, no scary entities, no corrupted creepypasta sprites, and it's that's what elevates it, it manages to do so much with so little and it's just better for that.
  5. Hi please check the recommended specs, try switching from OpenGL to Vulkan or viceversa and see if you get better frames. Unfortunately Gzdoom is a very single core heavy sourceport so it all depends on how strong your CPU is, my hands are tied there.

  7. First of all, thank you very much! To answer your question, I don't think it's very likely, it would require too much effort for something I frankly don't really care about that much, Golden Souls was always meant to be a singleplayer experience. If I were to make something with multiplayer in mind, I'd probably just work on a Zandro spin-off, be it a co-op focused campaign or some kind of party-game deathmatch thing, that said though, I have no plans for that at the moment.
  8. Generally speaking, you should leave the compatibility settings to Zdoom or Default for modern TCs since many elements that have been added later to Gzdoom (In this case it's the ThrustThingZ function) don't play nicely with vanilla settings and behaviors
  9. In both cases, Remaster or not, Golden Souls is not compatible with multiplayer so if it even runs at all there will be game breaking bugs like that
  10. I have pushed a little hotfix version that addresses a Big Coin bug in Lucy in the Sky With coins that would prevent you from 100% completing the game. This hotfix is not compatible with your savefiles, so if you're currently in a run, just keep playing with that version and be aware of this: When you lower this platform to access the secret flying ship area, collect the big coin there. If you don't and exit it with the other teleporter, that area will lock itself up.
