This is SO CLOSE to hitting the mark, the midi is very well made. But nobody ever seems to get the chorus right. if you watch Mick Gordon's music video, you can see he's playing triplets with a very subtle, gradual bend. No chords. No fancy rhythms. Just bending triplets. Mick's streamlined simplicity is what makes it so genius.
I've mocked up the kind of thing I expect in FL Studio, though it's .mid file support is lackluster so I wouldn't be able to render this out. But this is along the lines of what it SHOULD be:
