Starfield is most definitely not a game "everyone hates but you..." it has an absolutely massive following with millions in sales and one of the fastest growing mod communities in history.

Yes, in the United States, firearm-related injuries have now overtaken motor vehicle crashes as the leading cause of death among children and adolescents—almost 6 in every 100,000. Over the last 100 years, we statistically eliminated illnesses as a leading cause of death due to the effectiveness of vaccines in children.

Yeah... there's a moment where this causes a real problem, and I think it's because the map was not made by an American. You play as a toddler and eventually come across a... gun... in the house. That you can then use. One of the enemies is your... brother. Accidental gun deaths are the leading cause of death among children in the United States, and the map plays it so silly that I almost simply quit. Because gun violence is basically unique to the United States among developed nations, I think this project hits differently for me.

There's something super secret hiding in all these red key areas and I'm determined to figure it out.

You should disable jumping... there are a lot of places that seem to indicate jumping is required, but clearly you're not supposed to have that ability.

At Quakecon this year, @Shaikoten hinted that he'd be open to a rerelease of the book if there was enough interest. I put together a stupid spreadsheet to gauge how many people would actually give him money if he went to all the trouble of redesigning the book for sale once again. He sold them for $27.99 originally, but if he's going to go to all that trouble, he should probably make a few bucks on it... I'm just spitballing, but $40+S/H is a likely price point for a niche book like this.

We tracked him down before anyone else in the convention knew he was there. We didn't get the best photos because he hadn't moved to the convention hall yet, but we were the only people who had the chance to stand around in a small group and just shoot the shit with John Carmack. He talked with my sister about VR for probably 5 minutes without anyone else around.
