  1. RC2 has been uploaded! Please update your copy of Eviternity II. RC2 fixes a handful of critical bugs (most notably MAP26's "Silence" section being unplayable thanks to no "Pass Use Action" flags being set on lines that desperately needed it.) For information of all amends, see below list.
  2. Thanks! These have all been remedied and will be in RC2.
  3. Doom Retro is not (currently) a supported port. The only ports we've targetted are DSDA-Doom and GZDoom (and the latest versions of each, respectively - please ensure your ports are up to date!) I've yet to test for myself, but based on Altazimuth's post recently, Eternity Engine now supports Eviternity II as well - but again, I can't confirm this for myself.
  4. Awesome stuff; I wouldn't be against it's inclusion into Eviternity II! That said, I would prefer to wait until it's more widely tested / refined (I've not checked myself but Revenant100's post indicates how it's WIP atm), and to also wait until Evi2 is closer to a final build. :)
  5. We are looking arranging somewhere for people to get art prints at some point, though I imagine bugfixing comes first! The full image is 3x the scale linked here, so we should be able to get some good high quality prints! :D Out of curiosity, what sort of prints would be most interesting? Posters, t-shirts or something else?

  8. No surprises there, since PrBoom isn't a target port. ;) As per the website, this has been tested / designed for the latest version of DSDA-Doom or GZDoom only.

  11. It's been hard saying there will be no Eviternity II for five years. I've even had to try saying it with a straight face on podcasts!
  12. I've run out of likes to give today, uh oh. πŸ˜… I'd like to say a huge thank you to the overwhelming response thus far!! I hope you are all enjoying the WAD! If you do find bugs etc, please report them so that we can fix them for RC2. :) --- You're able to use either, though I've observed notably higher frame rates when running with OpenGL, so would recommend that personally. :) --- This is interesting - what compatability options are you playing with? If playing in GZDoom, I think you'll need to play with "default" in the compatability mode. As described in Tristan's above post, it seems GZDoom's MBF21 compat ignores new flags such as "Block Player" and "Block Land Monster". πŸ˜…
  13. Thanks for the report - how this hasn't come up during testing is a mystery! Can you record a video of it occurring? We can't recreate it our end.
