  1. You can keep moving and still have the max damage within 2 units. I'm not talking about taking less damage. I'm talking about you're less likely to get hit.
  2. You need to do the back and forth dance in Wolf3D. When you're moving, you're less likely to be hit, so you need to keep move back and forth all the time when fighting :p
  3. Pick up messages, I think I reported it before, but it seems it's still there?
  4. Is it supposed to show the messages from the other player(s) when playing coop on vanilla? At least before, it was not the case for Woof or whatever other sourceports.

Well, I guess making maps in a PWAD, which copied from an IWAD is probably not a good thing to do, if I understood this correctly... but honestly I guess you can do that as long as not uploading to idgames etc, though, I feel people just accepted things could be broken from years ago. I also like how the category is called UV Max instead of UV 100% because basically just do your best to get the "max" amount of kill/secret instead of a strict 100%. It's hard to compile a complete list of broken stuff, and probably most people wouldn't care about this outside of IWADs. Therefore, there's a UV Max exception debate thing going on in the speedrun subforum, and as expected, it didn't lead to anywhere :P
  7. I mean, the capitalization and tagging a bunch of people sound like a new thing to discover, but in reality, you don't know what's a demo, which is fine. However, when people pointed out this is known and can't work with a demo, then your attitude is like "I DO NOT DO SPEEDRUNS. I do not care about being the fastest", which is... a bit strange. I don't see how Shepardus throws you down by simply letting you know the fact.

  9. I thought he would explain how this high amount of attempts work, but he didn't. I guess maybe one sentence or two in it would be a little bit better to me since 100k sounds a bit ridiculous without techs like in-game reset, though, I have to say we wanted these because we looked at this issue from a speedrunner's perspective. I read some comments about people complaining about 20+ min video for a 4 second run blah blah... I guess from a non speedrunner's point of view, this is already too long since they are probably not here to know the history anyway.
  10. I would suggest you try to name the runs similar to others, and the files inside the *.zip file should be the same name. In this case, your run should be mach27m152.
  11. I would suggest you don't run any Sunder maps other than the ones in the old WAD since they are not finalized and they won't be uploaded to DSDA now.

  13. *.lmp files are from the recording feature from Doom itself (also it's LMP, not IMP). They only record inputs so that's small.
  14. I liked it, but I mean, before you change it, saying "yo bro, I like your id" is so weird. After you changed it, there's comparison, so I can clearly say "yo bro, I like your old id" :P
