    If you're really struggle with secrets, probably you can set "Options -> Automap Options -> Show Secrets on Map" to "Always". At least you can see where the secret is, but how to activate it is another story. Usually I don't like to do that, but if I press enough walls and still can't find it, I'll try this.

      I didn't know there was a way to reveal secrets on the minimap. I wasted so much time with the library map in Disjunction. It was a real PITA. Does this work in ZDoom?

      This is specifically for (G)ZDoom. PrBoom+ may be a little bit different in wording, but it also has this feature.
