I'm sure some people do. The most popular multiplayer port, from what I hear, is Zandronum though... there are always some people on servers there, and I usually fool around on there at least a couple evenings a week. Finding servers that aren't modded to oblivion is the tricky part.

Zandronum is better choice. I used zdaemon, but fucking server kicks me out, no matter what. It says, that I'm cheating. With zandronum I don't have any problems, besides shitty ping in far servers. 

I've been using ZDaemon forever. Even though Zand is a more advanced engine, servers on ZD tend to be a bit more oldschool which I generally prefer. You won't find anything with changes as drastic as Complex Doom, Brutal Doom, MegaMan 8bit and so on. I've always been of the mind that you're cheating yourself out if a good selection of servers by not using ZD and Zand in conjunction :)

Myst.Haruko, have you tried contacting ZD staff about it on the forums? It could potentially be a simple fix, I've never heard if that issue before
