  2. Not really relevant to Doom but rather Heretic, where there is a unique WAV file for information on the game which was found on the Alpha CD-ROM Bonus Pack published by Testdrive Corporation in 1995.
  3. Someone try to make a texture out of Binary Waterfall patterns.
  4. Imagine how grainy Doom would look like with this monitor.
  5. Wanted to bump this up, but I've updated this old WAD to add four monster teleporters and uploaded it to Gamebanana. Now you can get 100% kills in the map.
  6. Reminds me of some old Under Construction images when websites in the late-1990s were still being under development.
  7. Oh and also the soon to be closed Xbox 360 store, and the old titles from the Xbox Live Indie Games service.
  8. Apparently, according to Tyler McVicker, there was a compromise of Valve's development FTP server in the first half of 2000, which caused a couple of people to download whatever was on there at the time, which included a closed beta of Team Fortress 2 Brotherhood of Arms. This incident didn't get any attention by the gaming press compared to the infamous Half-Life 2 leak of 2003, and all the content from the 2000 Valve FTP leak is now lost.
  9. Managed to make a new updated version of my old ZX Spectrum Doom remake WAD Spectris.WAD, with the second level now having working doors and a change to the exit. Here's a GameBanana link to my updated WAD: https://gamebanana.com/mods/513322 I plan on doing more uploads for my older PWADs as well soon, and for my future WADs as well.
  10. The lack of overall polish of SS4 is probably why Croteam abandoned Serious Engine in favor of Unreal Engine 5 for Talos Principle 2.
  11. Many arcade games in the 1970s and 1980s had integer overflows or weren't properly programmed in terms of software and hardware that a higher level in any of these games results in the term "Kill Screen", as seen in this video:
  12. An Interplay VR Sports game VR Baseball 2000 uses a early version of the engine that would be used to power Shiny Entertainment's Messiah.
  13. The advertising for the Action 52 NES video game contest for Ooze that never happened and couldn't happen due to bugs in the cartridge that crashes the game every time after level 2. Meaning nobody could win it or even get the prize.
  14. Now of only Wolfenstein RPG and Orcs & Elves 1 & 2 can get the reverse-engineer PC port treatment, the cycle will be complete.
  15. It doesn't need to be fully 3D, meaning no 3D Models, basically remaking the models as sprites.
  16. If you are looking into creating a GZDoom gameplay mod or mapping project, you might had scene that the layout of the Realm667 website recently got weird awhile back, causing every recent repository content to get their proportions way off. Whether it was due to issues with the server or a oversite made by one of the site master's side. Unless anyone on the Realm667 server side are going to fix the layout issues, the website is going to look like this for quite awhile now.
  17. Oh I forgot to mention this, despite the claim of being made on the "SRP National 3D Engine" which is claimed to be built from the ground up, AIRI (my abbreviation for All It Really Is) is just a simple Flash Player file for the main executable and the rest being made on the open source GLScene engine where they ripped off a vehicle driving tech demo and replaced every model with crappy Iranian cars. That's only the main disc though, the second disc was appealing supposed to be about track racing, but most copies left the second disc blank, making it lost media, though according to old forum posts it was just a badly modded version of Need for Speed High Stakes from 1999 where they replaced the cars with crappy Iranian cars. In otherwords, the engines that they used in this game weren't even made in Iran.
