Yeah I was informed of that thread, felt a bit weird to see the lengths some people went to doxx that guy but I suppose I'm seeing it 8 years later and from an outsider's perspective - maybe it was justified back then. Either way, your posts seemed to be among the most reasonable in that trainwreck of a thread so I figured I'd show my appreciation.

Heh, they were earnest at the very least. I will say though that I was quite naïve at the time and not all that versed in online etiquette, so I'm not really proud of those comments these days.
