I'd definitely recommend this mapset! I had a lot of fun playtesting it

That color scheme looks awesome! I don't know if I've ever seen those colors used together like that -

I have two questions about Ultimate Doom Builder after recently switching to it. I've tried looking through Preferences but didn't find anything: Is there an option to disable selection of things in a sector when in sectors or linedef mode? I don't want to drag/copy things when I move/copy a sector. This is a long shot, but is there a way to adjust the sensitivity of switching to bulk select when clicking and dragging? I keep trying to click a bunch of linedefs really fast but it keeps thinking I'm trying to drag and it clears my selection, forcing me to start over. This didn't happen to me in Doom Builder X -

Thanks! You can't see it in the screenshots but at the start of the final fight the gold veins come to life and light beams travel through them and put on quite the light show -

Shootable Switches Animating in DSDADoom
Arbys550 replied to Arbys550's question in Editing Questions
Damn, that sucks. That means I won't be able to finish the map like I envisioned, oh well. I guess I can try a radical culling of linedefs to try to fix it. Adding their own sector didn't help. -
Shootable Switches Animating in DSDADoom
Arbys550 replied to Arbys550's question in Editing Questions
Okay here it is, the map is huge, I think that could be the problem. I realized it also happens with nearby textures just pressing the switches like normal, not just gunfire. https://drive.google.com/file/d/19MolT3SvGDtFgrA_OQ6GTCvXB_9J3qr7/view?usp=sharing -
I have a place in my WAD where the player needs to obtain the shotgun to be able to shoot multiple switches at the same time. The mechanism works correctly, but one switch for some reason causes all the adjacent switches to animate also, making the player think they hit all the shootable switches at once when they didn't. This only happens to me in the latest DSDADoom when I updated, and worked properly before. Is anyone aware of this issue and how to fix it? This is what the switches look like, each switch is not the same linedef and is on a separate sector:

Me and a couple friends played through half of the WAD in coop, I'll put it here in case the devs want to see some not-so-serious feedback:

In the Doghouse - WIP Boom Megawad - (24 Maps So Far)
Arbys550 replied to Arbys550's topic in WAD Releases & Development
A little update for anyone who is still following this, there are now 21 maps in the WAD (20 normal + 1 secret). Progress has been slow because of insane ambition and my tendency to put too much detail into a map. For the final 10 maps I'm gonna focus on reeling myself in a little bit and not trying to do a magnum opus every level. Hopefully this will be done within the next couple years. I am still appreciating feedback, especially on maps 18, 19, and 20. Difficulties are not really implemented yet, I will overhaul them at some point in the future.
