  1. "Yeah, hi I'm Steve, I used to work in the Deimos Labs, until they transferred me to the Halls Of The Damned... I fix the light-amp goggles..."
  2. The cyberdemon, because D2 jacket cover. And Princess Peach is obviously the arch-vile
  3. Yep, those were the days, when you had to work out how many secrets found, out of how many secrets total, from only "85%".
  4. Yes, you certainly did. An E1M1 remake?! Aw HELL no man c'mon Lol yeah put up big red curtains and light candles and stuff
  5. Yes, if I had to pick just one wad from Max Doom it would be Oracle, a goddamn giant city of a map made by Jim Flynn, who also is represented on the Master Levels. Yeah, what IS your favorite one man?
  6. One of those 'gimmick' maps in D2, alongside Barrels 'O Fun and (yes) The Chasm, this is one where Lord Petersen decided to not worry about creating anything realistic or related to the storyline of Doomguy going through actual places on Earth and really explore the capabilities of the the Doom engine and level design. It feels like a secret map and personally, I think it should've been, instead of the Wolf3d tribute maps (weirdly enough, the rooms at the very north of the map are very similar to the 'non Wolf3d' secret room in map 31 - why did he do that??). The only thing truly missing from this level is some kind of crusher trap. Love how the the only glimpse of the sky is in the central 'hub' room (which gets highlighted when you pick up the invuln sphere). Watching a cyberdemon get clawed to death by a horde of barons is quite possibly one of the most awesome moments in the game. Love this map
  7. I like doing the thing when you know what's on the other side of a teleporter, and you fire your BFG just before you teleport and you get a 'silent' BFG blast that takes out whatever enemies it hits, but doesn't alert any other enemies in the same room. There was a level in Memento Mori II where you can exploit this, one of the bigass later ones I believe
  8. Diablo Doom??! Somebody. Get. On. That. NOW.
  9. This is my expert subject. The goldmine of so-bad-it's-good wads Maximum Doom has a few classics, off the top of my head there's DMDV2, HELLRAI2, MAP01, MIC2 and TONY32
  10. Side rant: why the hell did the term 'bucket list' get so damn popular? Didn't it originate from some lame Jack Nicolson/Morgan Freeman movie? It's like 'Groundhog Day', some weird tradition in one hick town where they abuse a small animal or something, which has now become synonymous with deja vu because of Bill Murray. Or something like that
  11. Anything can be done in Doom these days, everybody here knows that. I'm just saying Sudoku Doom? Aw hell no, bro. HELL no
