  1. I don't always suffer from mental illness, sometimes I quite enjoy it.
  2. I've always thought a 'making of Doom' bio-pic would be a good idea for a movie. I wouldn't be surprised if this will end up being the best 'Doom movie' so far and it'll probably bring in new fans, unlike the previous movies based on the actual game.
  3. Probably Kitchen Ace. It's got the groove for it. Not while $%^ing but I was between second and third while listening to a metal/hard-rock soundtrack that included 'Them Bones', which is the inspiration for 'Barrel's o' Fun'.
  4. I tried to get into it. But I mean, I'm used to having the drummer do the beat part.
  5. I can't remember any specific dreams about Doom but I do believe I've had them. I've had dreams about many video games I've played, where I'll be playing some rare never before seen area of a game. I've even had dreams about TV shows where I am one of the characters in the show.
  6. I've had experiences where I will see a random stranger that stands out to me. They may look completely normal but they'll often have an odd expression and be around an area that I've been unsure of going to. I'll try and get a closer look and they are gone. I'll look at the ground for a second, then suddenly I can't see them. It's like they hopped in car or walked down some hidden ally or hallway at an extreme speed. This happened more often when I was a young kid, but it happened to me twice in one day last week.
  7. I'm a fan of Obsidian/Oblidge it's great for personal use, and just playing around and 'ignoring rules' like jumping around to get secrets or skip areas and not feel like 'you're cheating'. The obsidian levels look pretty cool too, great for TC gameplay mods. But I do agree with most of the criticisms, the levels don't turn out that great gameplay wise most of the time. I remember in the early days most levels were completely unplayable do to difficult monsters in early areas or bad geometry. I don't think people releasing them as original levels is good thing to do, but fortunately I haven't seen that very often. If they are released the author is usually upfront about it and they're mostly used as placeholders. But yeah it's kinda boring playing someone else's generated levels I'll admit.
  8. The full sheet is on spriters-resource.
  9. As a fan of the franchise since the original 2 my (hopefully spoiler free) opinion; I absolutely loved it. I think they nailed it. The story was great, I was entertained by pretty much every character somehow. "The Ghoul" was probably my favorite character, he was very intimidating but had a few sympathetic moments. I had a bit of a disliking towards Maximus, but near the end he became my second favorite character after The Ghoul. The lead character Lucy was good too, she might have one of the best 'protagonist story-lines' in fallout so far. It's got elements from the other vault dweller protags in the franchise. As for my spoiler reactions:
  10. It's always been that last imp around the corner that I didn't see. Other than that I think it was the ambient zombie sounds. For Doom 3 it was the lag on my crappy computer at the time. Now I could play it on my phone if I wanted to.
  11. Might as well add my Doom 3 monsters to follow up. Doom3 Maggot Credits: DBThanatos, Vader, Craneo Doom3 Guardian of Hell Credits: Duke Nukem 3D, Doom 3, Gothic
  12. Doom '16 was not a return to form but a total diversion from it. Doom Eternal goes even further away from Classic Doom and feels like I'm playing "Mario with Guns" and I really don't like it. Doom 3 is a good game, especially the BFG Edition. It's also the last Doom game that feels like classic Doom. Doom 64's soundtrack fits perfectly with the rest of the game. Most Doom popular pwads are too hard and overly detailed in the wrong way, no I will not say which ones. Doom 3 is not the real Doom 3, neither is Doom 64 because that's a spinoff, the real Doom 3 is Quake II. (Kinda joking about this one, but some of you might know what I'm talking about lol) Those are a few I can name off the top of my head.
  13. I approve of that attitude. I've decided that almost any requests/suggestions I get never go on a "to-do" list, but on a "ideas to maybe consider if I eventually want to" list, just for my own sanity. I get some good ideas, but I can't keep up with it all.
  14. "TV Tropes will ruin your life" so they say. It's definitely a fun website, but it certainly needs to be taken less seriously or you'll find yourself in a weird head space like how I did for a while.
  15. I'm liking it so far. It looks like they're doing the story I was expecting, a mission to save Ezra (and stop Thrawn). I liked the part with the "not so former imperials", shows that the empire is still going. I like Ahsoka pointing out that greed is their motivation too. We tend to forget how bad imperials are, not just Palpatine. I have also picked up that Ahsoka seems to have gotten more ruthless shall we say? She's definitely more focused on getting Thrawn than saving Ezra, and her fighting style seems to be a bit more aggressive in live action. I don't think she's going dark-side or anything, but I think she's become another "bitter hero", almost like Luke in episode 8, but fortunately she has not given up, but I think she might be losing patience.
