  1. Two maps I plan on making secret maps for tiny little megawad I've been working on for the last 3 or so years now, off and on. No need to level skip as I've set them as MAP01 and MAP02. The first level is "Waterloo" (haven't come up with a better title) and it is mostly my attempt at recreating parts of 3 different levels from classic 90s fps games I love. Marathon, Marathon 2 and Darkforces to name them. Also keeps your eyes peeled and look out for switches hidden in textures. There is still some work to do, I've got some idea's to make some of the combat a little more tighter and such, and this is more so a rough draft of this map at this time. Map 2, "Bedroom" is a map I posted here last year, I began work on it sometime around August or September of 2022 I believe. Essentially it is a giant bedroom and I ain't gonna lie, it can get rough. No shame in using a lower difficulty if needed. I've not set either of these levels for lower difficulties, they are in their "Ultra-Violence" form right now. But basically all I've done with map 2 here is I corrected a few wrong textures, added more health and ammo in some areas and finally got around to fixing a mishap with the secrets. As well as added a 4th secret. Just a tip, the secrets in map 2 are mostly hidden in plain sight. Anyway, lemme know what guys think is g00t, bad and needs improving! Would appreciate videos, just so I can see how others may approach some situations and such and work from there. God belss! P.S. if anyone is wondering, the map recreations I did in "Waterloo" are M1's Bigger Guns Near By (the triangle room and onward), Dark Forces - Secret Base and M2's - Waterloo Waterpark starting area.   2. Been polishing up my "Bedroom" map I made a year or two ago the past few day's. Had another one I started around the same time, supposed to be a kitchen, inspired by the first level from Army Men 2 on PC. I could contribute that to this project if you need another mapper. I will admit, I do get burned out from mapping these day's, so might take me a little bit to finish. I saw you mentioned having a long off deadline though.

  5. Aha! Gamer battle stations! Make the objective for doomguy to traverse the tower of piss jugs to fight a cyber demon on the top aha!

  7. Yeah bro, always enjoyed the old army men games for PC and PS1 and wanted to do something paying tribute to that in a way. Planning on having this level as one of the secret maps in a megawad I've been slowly working on for the last 3 years.
  8. Ah yes would make sense! I had recently added those, made that tech room a secret a few months back and added those tech pillars yesterday. Saw that it had 21 secrets, but was burnt out and didn't feel like going through the map to see what it was. Still a WIP, gotta do some texture alignment and a few other little tweeks. Glad you enjoyed it though! And thanks for doing a video! I appreciate being able to see how others may play the map so I know what to fix. Might have that cyber beam in on the bed a little later, the intention is to have him lobbing rockets at the player as they do the light platforming on the dressers and shelves, aha!
  9. Been working on and off on this map since September. Still some stuff to touch up, been busy with some other stuff, so might take me a little while to get around to doing said touch ups. I did just run into an issue where the map now has 21 secrets when there are only 3. I'll have to find out what caused that issue. But anyway, hope you enjoy! Vanilla monsters and textures from Doom 2 with some Duke3D textures in there too. I've only tested it in GZDoom, and it was made in UDMF format. Oh! and the last bit of the level gets pretty hectic with monsters, but there are plenty of places retreat to, and there should be a good amount of ammo and health to get you through.   10. Yeah it blows, but indeed! I should be able to get it close enough to what I had. It was a pretty neat looking map. Yeah man! This will be the 4th time this has happened. One would think I would've learned my lesson by now, aha!
  11. I was pretty close to done and allowing for others to playtest. Not the first time this happened, lel. No biggy, Just gonna have to back to work.
  12. Sorry for my absence, computer died on me. Lost all my work. Gonna have to start over again, still remember most of the layout of map. Just got my computer recently. I'll begin work on it shortly.
  13. ayeoo, made this over the course of last weekend and just finished today. Computer died on me, finally got it fixed and began mapping again. This map was sorta winged, just thrown together without any real solid idea of what I wanted to do. I suggest playing it on GZDoom, Zdoom was a bit buggy, and I've yet to test it on any other ports. Only UV difficulty atm, some bits can get intense, but not impossible. There's one secret, still have to do a few touch ups. It isn't 100% complete yet.   14. Been lagging on my map. Had some stuff come up, still working through said stuff atm. I did get a nice chunk nearly finished off the other day, but my comp decided to crash and I didn't have my work saved. Gonna have to go back and redo everything. Hopefully I can get my shit sorted out irl soon enough and be back on that creative energy again and get a playable sample up here for testing.
