  1. Have about 100 unfinished maps sitting on my hdd. Why not challenge myself to actually finish one. Count me in!
  2. Ah, keen to see your finished project! Yeah I've played around with some FX Things in some of my stuff, never the smoke one though. I've always just used the generic Light and Flicker Lights Things, can you explain additive, attenuated and subtractive? Yeah I usually set ambient lighting to around 100 and use point light on light textures.

  4. Interesting, I've never had to include gzdoom.pk3 as a resource to clear such errors. I'm usually able to fix the decorate to make it work. Can't figure this one out though.

  6. Hi there, Wondering if anyone else has used the SparkSpawner from REALM667 and has ran into the following error: "Unable to find sprite lump "TNT1A" used by actor "WhiteSparkSpawner":10005. Forgot to include required resources?" The Spark Spawner itself works perfectly fine in UDB and testing. Just want to get rid of the error that appears in UDB. I assume it's looking for the sprites named TNT1A etc... which I don't have, and the sprites I do have are named something else... I use Slade 3 for .wad editing. Thanks!
  7. @Suitepee I couldn't make the live stream due to work but I just watched the play through of my map - appreciate the feedback Suitepee, and hating on the projectile blocking wall at the start haha! This was my first ever map release so yeah it's not great but I'm happy I got something out! I've been working on my next submission for the DMP2022 and I can confidently say it'll be much better! That invuln sphere was just bad. Bad, bad, bad! Thanks mate.

  10. @Obsidian Have updated my map. 1.1 - Minor texture improvements - Skippable cacodemons area tweaked to prevent skipping - Triggerable lines were fixed or replaced by another mechanism - Sewers Hole cannot be entered now - Minor tweaks to secrets - Sludge factor up from about 75% to 100%... :P Download - https://www.mediafire.com/file/t42s6bp7hod8pb3/SludgeFac1.1.rar/file
  11. I had the same theory last year, turns out I had to rush out a map in the last 3 days lol.
  12. Appreciate the play-through mate! Good to see it being done by someone else! Couple things I need to tweak I think. The skippable Cacodemons and Barons, didn't mean for them to be skippable. The Barons not spawning near the end is actually a line trigger under the rocket launcher pickup, didn't trigger for some reason. The hole in the sewers part, kinda silly. Maybe I should make that blocked or insta death lol. Couple secrets you missed obviously, maybe they're not obvious enough, or they're just right, hmm don't know. And... More sludge!

  14. Took me way too many tries to finish a map for the DWMP 2021. And now this pops up. Twisted my arm, I'm in!
