Many Multiplayer games were not even playable without interpolation since its often part of the netcode but the interpolation is seperated from other stuff. In many old Console games it is standard like in Vanilla Doom. On Modernized Sourceports like Zandronum ,Odamex ,GZDoom etc. you can turn off the interpolation which will cap the FPS to 35 otherwise the game would run in fast as the fps is. (hence 70 fps would make the game twice as fast) So i wondered if there was someone who had same idea like before. Sadly it isnt the case.

i wonder if there is a fork fo Choco-doom which removes the fps cap. Then it were amazing. I feel dizzy after few minutes if i enable the cap in other ports. We should keep in mind that 30 FPS felt complete different on old CRT Displays or TV´s

Hello fellow Demonhunters. I there any way to have a seperate Config files for each mod at startup? Some have their own Keybinds and every time i switch between my mods i have to rebind my keys since they becoe unbound if the mod is not present. It would be even okay to load and save files from console.(i would bind these Commands keyboard) As far i know many ports have an exec command. But i never used it since i played mostle classic , Clusterfuck and brutal doom only. Thank you in advance and happy demon hunting.

You were right.I also clicked on multiplayer but that disabled them them because i copy pasted them just to see what happens. I didnt realize it has such a big impact. Only easy , medium , hard seems to work. But what is if i want the demon also to spawn in Coop? Same flag as singleplayer ? Thank you this fixed it.

So i try to learn Doombuilder and its kinda intuitive. Many Stuff i learned just by looking around in the Programm. I also tried this Tutorial. Map Analyzer doesnt find any problem but the monsters still won´t spawn. I even checked all boxes (For every Game mode) Still in sceond Screenshot there is nothing except objects. Anyone here knows what i could do wrong ? Thanks in Advance.

WADs in length of Original Doom. But important. They should make sense. Not just like Random maps. What i really dislike is switch hunting or maps which feel like a maze. I am a relative impatient person. I played Scythe II recently and except the last map (BFG Clusterf*ck) it was really was fun. Well thought WAD. You Start in the last Area where you exited the previous map.

I remember the first time i played Doom an PC i was amazed but as you can think with 12 Years u take it different than as Adult. It was eerie as hell for me. Plus i wasnt good compared to Today. Nowadays i think it depends on the Mapset and how you play Doom. Let the Magic of a game happen instead of thinking "its just a game" I love dark Mapsets and i wanna tell you what happened recently. "Its kinda quite ,you enjoy the enviroment and then u hear a Hellknight or Baron of Hell howling behind you while u are low at Health." This feels like a Jumpscare. These moments are amazing and it even makes me feel proud if i managed to survive the situation with low ammo and not much space to dodge. Its pure adrenaline. In the end it just depends on your self.

i tested it and it works. When i do exactly what is in the Screenshot then i barely can move. -Turbo 10. Technically you do exactly the same as with a shortcut. For the Case u want to do this via ZDL.

So i wonder if i can shuffle maps it should be also possible to do with music too. All mods regarding this have a playlist. But i try to find something without playlist. just put it in a pk3 file and thats it. Is this even possible ? Thank you in Advance and happy Fragging.

Sure as many state "we love it as it is" i can fully understand people who just want pure nostalgia. But i also like to see what if... or even things i thought about when there were less hardware restrictions.
