That pic was taken back in the old I.E. 4.0 days - my computer apprarently thought doomworld.com (my startup page) was somehow the default i.e. 4.0 page (ie40.htm)..

  I guarantee it wasn't. If anything it was Altavista (although I don't really remember ever using it... same with Yahoo...)
  
  I think I was using Google by 2000 at the latest, maybe in 1999 even, so it's possible I went from Webcrawler straight to Google actually.
