Anyway... I scrolled waaay too far and found this thread. Japanese rasslin is my jam, so I'm posting. I'd like to start off by saying: Strong Style is definitely the best current meta of puroresu. That said, my all time favorite puro is the "garbage" promotion W☆ing. Obviously. The grit of old territory era NWA combined with a mix of new and old blood. The promotion never stood a chance. Also, W☆ing was the bastard offspring of the Frontier Martial arts Wrestling (FMW) promotion. Of which the real life story is insanely intriguing! As for what's happening today in puro, Naito is the shit! And Kasai is going to die in the ring! I like lucha too.
