  1. Happy Saturday everyone! Guess what? Since I released this I haven't made a single change - which is amazing thanks to all the pre testing. Unless something is soft lockable of fundamentally broken - I think it's time - I sent it to the archives!   2. @Forgotten Soul nice to meet ya - I watched your first 2 vids - very nice! Yeah the lifts in map 1 lol - I know they can be hard to work with oops. Even I have a hard time with them. Another issue is that button does double duty as it also temp lowers the blue armour secret - so sometimes when you press it - it's lowering that but not the main platforms if they haven't risen all the way up yet. Oh well way she goes @Stupid Bunny - Happy to hear you are having a good time map - thanks so much for detailing your journey. You know, more ppl will play and experience things than you ever know - so its nice to see ppl take time to leave thoughts. 8 - Cybers in the basement? You must have dreamed that one. yeah the archie zone worked out to be more devious than expected. 9 - Map inspired by Snax saying "Caco Accessible" There was originally much more cacos and they crowd you harder at the start but I dialed it down cause I know I went too far in a few places. Either way it was fun to make 10 - The high ledge inbulns and bfgs did turn out to be harder to get than expected - but if you get er and the outside one thats like 4 invulvs for you haha - they also come down in a secret later - when you said there was a weird texture, yeah that was by design but everyone thinks its a bug. Cant help myself lol. Not familiar with meme Anywho I did up the IDGAMES text file I may submit it soon cause shockingly I havent had to fix anything. This is same file from release day And I'll be making reveal vids eventually too to explain all the nonsense Feel free to keep feedback coming and thanks, have a good one!

  5. I had unexpected energy today and didn't realize you had a map come out in conjunction with your crisp new wiki page kudos! This was a very thrilling adventure with constant well paced action as usual you got the stuff on lock and I had absolutely great time this morning Keep at it bud thanks for coming along
  6. Thanks for playing more maps bud glad you got to take advantage of the exploding crates after all and worked through my silly tricks As for map 7 - funny how you kept editing your post haha. You scared me cause this map gave me unexpected grief during development and still weird things happen. Also the secrets thing: as much as I love Secrets this time I was so compelled with map designs that I was having a hard time squeezing them in so for this map I just figured I would mirror the original and have the secret sector be at the exit switch Good Times buddy stay tuned for tomorrow Fried Chicken Friday I may have a surprise for you

  8. Well I played it Map is technically sound but I got confused a few times haha . Had a hard time remembering how to get back to the exit after finding blue key It also seems some pivotal assets or weapons are hidden in Secrets or bizarre backtracking situations like needing red key to find the rocket launcher by the time I got there I was already done I assume the other secret I missed was probably another weapon I could have had but yeah if you're hiding weapons or making them hard to get then players could experience a boring lack of weapons Anywho hope this videos entertaining haha

  11. I'm so sorry buddy I placed a spawner. Without targets You know the icon of sin alert noise? To win the game you must kill Me john Romero but backwards? It's that noise I am trying to work with here If that still isn't clear I cab explain more later

Hey guys hey - the timing was right that I got to visit @LVENdead and play one of these cool maps Hard emphasis on the one of this due to time constraints Project looks cool - this map in particular was filled with eye candy to keep ya simulated - LVENdead you designed the heck out of this one - the city landscape really brings home the feel of being in a bright and colourful futuristic city - with lots to explore and fights to keep ya entertained - this was a legit thrill . That night club part if top notch I wish I could legit go there and lounge about Good times!

Hey guys thanks again for giving this a whirl I'm still surprised I haven't really had any major issues to fix this is still the version I posted on release day One issue however is the custom icon of sin alert noise I added seems to get cut off sometimes even though we change the sound priorities but maybe there's not much that can be done on that in lesser than GZ ports Anywho with how well this is going I'll probably send it to the archives sooner than later I'm also going to start my own full reveal playthru series since so many people had so many questions about my silly Maps and over the top secret hiding haha here's the first episode

Abyssal Speedmapping Sessions: Session 9 by Obsidian Gifty TheMionicDonut Darsycho Ribbiks Tuxlar 4ShockBlast https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom2/Ports/a-c/abysped9 Guests @sandwedge @Doomkid @thelamp @Snaxalotl This was actually a nice set! Especially for the speed of build and best thing I grabbed from IDGAMES in a bit Map 1 Herrrrre's Archie! by Obsidian - short map with the fight the archie gimmick - at least nice and short silly map haha - not much to say really - eternal doom music Map 02 4ShockBlast's Fortress by 4ShockBlast - nice little castle like map - fights were decent - no complaints here Map 03 OK by Gifty - nice short fun engaging map with scary cyber - good stuff Map 04 Aych Two Oh by Tuxlar - this is where the other shoe drops HARD for me, I hated this map -- SOOO much. Never liked forced slowing friction scenarios and everything here feels like an unfair road blocky mess - totally ruined the fun for me tbh so I had to cheat - at least cool flying spider moment happened that was fun - gunna make a short out of that. I even tried ITYTD but no - this is just a mean ass map bro - also I forgot and left ITYTD on haha - truly - this should have been put at the end Map 05 Eerie Canals 2: The Search for Bette Midler by TheMionicDonut @TMD I hope this is you. I LOVED this map - truly - loved it! High paced frantic action, gets ya moving and engaged and what a thrill - really - my favourite one Kudos buddy Map 06 Professor Doctor's Evil Spaceship by Darsycho - I enjoy the design, the silvery goodness and look - you can tell some copy and paste happened. Other than the obscene over the top spectare punch opening (grueling gruel) the rest of the map was fine - good times Map 07 Caco on the Cliff by the Sea by Ribbiks - Not sure if I ever played a ribbiks map before, nice introduction - a pretty wild little scenario with cliff edge carefulness - it was good Map 08 Tricks and Traps by Sandy Peterson - please work on your allignments better - some of those doors are WHACK bro Ok im not the best at reviews but I hope my gameplay experience and chats with buddies / footage will be worth while Really glad I found this - great session - fun times Thats it for now will be back again someday
