    Im trying this new port out and im not used to prboom-esque sourceports, is there a way i can get the timer shown on screen as im playing the game, and i prefer to play with a 4:3 ratio but i dont like how it stretches to fill the screen, is there a way to have a true 4:3 ratio?

    Yeah I'm a 2003 kid but I can imagine a lot of you doomers in your 30s and 40s feel pretty old right now. Any fav songs or thoughts? Edit - not to mention Blood Sugar Sex Magik by the RHCP is also 30 today.

    Omg Jack Black is one of my favorite actors. I grew up watching Nacho Libre and listening to Tenacious D, imo he has a very vibrant sense of humor, and his character in recent movies like the new Jumanji movies are great performances. And yeah he's a great musician too, and the fact that he collabed with Ronnie James Dio once proves how awesome Jack is. Also my dad acts like him a lot too so that probably helps lol.

    I'm grinding the h*ck out of Quake enhanced on Nightmare trying to get every achievement (bc I'm a perfectionist), currently on Scourge of Armagon.

    Charlie Watts, long time drummer of the Rolling Stones has passed away earlier today at the age of 80. A very influential drummer of the 60s and a kind spirit, he will be missed. What is your favorite Rolling Stones song? I love Heartbreaker and Beast of Burden the most.

    HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Cooling). I work with others to install furnaces/air conditioners, airduct and pipes, and everything to do with AC. I'm not licensed, just helping out, so I mostly work back at the shop and make stuff, and at CAD $15/hr (min. wage)

    I usually order Domino's pizza every weekend for dinner and I always use a coupon for one bread item and a 2L drink, and I always get Diet Coke. and it's always gone before the end of the day bc I LOVE MY DIET COKE.

    Well, I have a few followers on here since the last time I was active here, so I guess it may be helpful to update on my whereabouts for you and potential visitors. I'm really trying to be more involved in Doom; I wanna get back into speedrunning, making Doom Wad Review videos (there's one underway), and stuff like that, but now that I'm out of high school and working full time in my family business, as well as creative laziness and burnout, I don't really have a lot of motivation to get these projects going. I don't have a lot of free time on weekdays, and when it rolls around, I'm already tired at the end of the day and just feel like playing video games until I go to bed. But today, I'm gonna make the decision to turn my life around. September is right around the corner and that's usually the time when I'm the most involved with doom, speedrunning almost everyday and inspired to make content for everyone. I'm not a big creator, and even less so in this community, but I've made promises to deliver Doom, music and irl content to the people that are here and listening. Hopefully this new drive to get back into the swing of things will benefit me as a person as well, because I'm still struggling with weight loss and stuff like that. So if you are a fan of my content, I promise that there is work being done behind the scenes, and I will be back better than last time! See ya later fellas.

    For me, I love Fear of the Dark by Iron Maiden, I think it's an amazing song with catchy lyrics and some great riffs, but during the entire guitar solo, theres only guitar, bass and drums playing. It feels very empty and kind of ruins the song for me. Now you could say it's kind of "dark" so it fits the theme of the song, but I would add a backing rhythm guitar during the solo to help fill in the empty mix and make the song feel more alive.

    I only watch YT on mobile, usually about 3 to 4 hours a day on average because I watch videos while playing video games in the background, and I only hate ads because the music is so ridiculously soulless and awful. The cliche poppy and bland scatter of noise drives me mad. And as for sponsors, I actually love watching YouTubers I like and support promote their sponsors, and yeah they can be annoying and they probably dont actually use the products irl, but it makes me happy that they're making a bag, especially when it's a smaller youtuber that I've seen grow over the years.
