  1. Finished it. Loved it. There's just this overwhelming sense of things spiralling out of control at every turn, constant rising acting. Just delicious stuff. The Mob Closets when you triggered them in sequence (or each with a slight time offset, voodoo doll?) rather than all at once, extremely intimidating! Great trick. Probably the most ferocious Map02 I think I've ever played that wasn't a slaughter set, though it kind of is from Map2 on. "Cacatoa" would be very high on my list of most hilarious maps names, if I had one. Got a giggle out of the True Ending.
  2. Finished it some further random observations. Total playtime (minus reloads) was 3 hours. Horselessheadsman in regards being reminded about Lost Civ is pretty on point with the Doom Cute in the living spaces. My favourite map was Life After People, it really nailed a overgrown city to the point of being unrecognisable and entirely reclaimed by nature. The little extra details on key slight lines really impressed me. Texture work across the board was just fantastic. The first map with the crates and the vines I thought might be been tutorialising some elements to watch out for in most of the maps, only came up a few times. Really vibed the maps that erred on the shorter side, I think the "Emerald City" brief might have a few contributors leaning into Sandy's City territory. Bit of a theme with Imp club dancers eh? :D Oh and credits were super cute.
  3. Good stuff, enjoying it very much so far.
  4. Current GZDoom with a collection of QoL mods on top. Sorry forgot the first of five, its quite a large fight between the first and the other four :). My best random uneducated guess is maybe I grabbed them so quick it bugged like a Map07 double arachnotron kill. Yeah no issues with the 'rangs elsewhere. Well, maybe on Washed Ashore, but i assume i just couldn't find the the key switches for the triple barrier at the exit.
  5. Just finished it including the two bonus maps. Really good stuff. Really started grooving with it at Oasis Seige. Big difficulty spike on Drunken Wallaby. I think I softlocked after the four boomerangs at end of Hillsong (Yeah I'm picking up what you're putting down), not raising the bars to Santa's pool unless I missed something silly. Total playtime was about 2hours 50minutes give or take. I continue to enjoy all the DBP output, even though you guys make it faster than I can play it :) Caco for the gang in 2021 or riot.
  6. Incredible. Will be putting some time into this. Some good chuckles had already just booting it up to see if it plays nice with my mods. Close as well get to an Australian Community Map Pack, so I'll take it :).
