  1. rottexpr works well for me and comes with a bunch of interesting new features as well. Although, 3D Realms is releasing an official port sometime this year, so I recommend waiting for that if rottexpr doesn't work for you.
  2. These slots are going by quickly, I wonder if there's still some left, because I would love to contribute to this project.
  3. Congratulations on the release, can't wait to play all of these maps when I have the time.
  4. Are there still some slots left? I whipped up this map up with 5 extra minutes on the clock. This is my first published map, so it might be a bit rough, but I gave it my best. The map was made with the vanilla format and the midi used is Dr. Wily Stage 2 from Mega Man 9. https://mega.nz/file/RkIXzQiZ#K7sjOux5SFfO0s5akgmczRMkYw8rHiRGtvTYAo6sEcA Edit: Forgot the name of the map, it's called Dry Bleeding, and it comes with no custom sky.
  5. I doubt it, considering the fact that it's a licensed game, and not a very good one at that.
  6. A situation like that is extremely uncommon, so not really.
  7. Unloved is a GZDoom mod that is heavily inspired by Silent Hill. It's worth a look.
  8. Aww, I liked the old OP. Anyways, I like this map. The texture usage is pretty odd and some of the enemy placements feel erratic, but the map's difficulty is just right and the level is short and sweet.
  9. This might be a good place to start. https://doomwiki.org/wiki/Editing_tutorials#WAD_editing
  10. Serious Sam: TFE and TSE lack any source ports as far as I know, but the classic version should work fine on modern hardware. You can also go with the HD edition for a more polished experience.
  11. Just finished playing through your map. The texture usage is pretty sloppy, secrets were lazy and I found most of them by accident, and the map was pretty short. Monster placement is fine, aside from the random Cyberdemon at the end, and the level design wasn't the greatest, but was still competent. Overall, I think your map was okay, but it could use a little bit of polish.
  12. I've always liked E2M3 in Doom 1, and don't understand the hate for it. The worst part about the level is traversing through some nukage to grab a shotgun if you're pistol starting it, but otherwise, I found it to be a fun level, and the dark room at the end still spooks me every time I play through Refinery.
  13. Barons. They're not really all that annoying, but they're boring to fight, as they're just tougher imps that slow down the action unless you have a few rockets or a BFG blast saved for them.
