  1. I would say just use Windows 10 with a 7 skin and call it a day, but I know that's not enough for some people. If the Windows 7 experience is really what you want, then just use a VM. Sure it's not a go to for gaming, but at least you can use it safely use it without fear of security issues. Unless you get malware that penetrates through your VM
  2. Oh I see. Would you mind pointing me in the direction of how to change them myself? I have a midi pack already in my possession, and I wanted to use it. Thank you for your insight btw.
  3. Just as the title says above. Does it support formats like OGG and FLAC? I recently used a wad that remakes all of Doom's sounds in super high quality and I wanted to use higher quality midis to go along with it.
  4. I just recently had Doom Eternal gifted to me on Steam, so that's been the game I've been playing the most recently
  5. This what I have. This is my first time actually using the command line, so forgive me if the problem is obvious
  6. So I just recently picked up the Woof source port, and I gotta say after only using it for a short time, I love it. But besides that: Earlier I was trying to launch NRFTL through the command line, and I kept getting this error. But whenever I did a simple drag and drop, it worked just fine. Any ideas what the problem could be?
  7. Just had a thought, what's everyone's favorite unique weapons in Fallout 4? I've been sinking a lot of time into the game, and I thought I'd ask out of curiosity.
  8. I've had this on my mind for a while now, and I'm wondering if anyone here has an answer. So you know how Manhunt 2 has a handful of versions? Like the uncut PC version (which I have) and the retail censored PS2, PSP, and Wii versions. I've noticed that, although the console versions are censored heavily, the animations for each execution are much longer in length, whereas the PC executions are completely uncensored, but yet are shorter in length for some reason, with the animations being cut off abruptly. Does anyone know why this is? I'm just curious. Morbidly curious, but curious nonetheless

  11. That's another OS that I've heard was god awful. I saw LGR's video on it a while back, and I'm pretty sure it was just Windows 2000 but for home users (As far as I'm aware, 2000 was only for business users). But the only problem I have with ME is that XP was right around the corner. Idk, the oldest I've gone was XP, I couldn't fully figure out how to get 98 and 95 working on a VM back on my crappy laptop, but since I have a considerably better pc now, I can give it a shot again.
  12. Ok, so I know Windows Vista is infamous for being "the worst operating system ever" but what exactly earned it that name? I've heard a lot of things, like it being poorly optimized, or it just flat out not working on computers of the time. But from what I can tell, it just looks like Windows 7 but older.
  13. It’s me again. So I finally put everything back in my pc case, every single plug, every single screw, all of it. I plugged in my pc, and nothing. No lights, no power. Absolutely nothing. I checked to see if the PSU light was on, but no. If you couldn’t tell, I’m relatively new to the pc scene, so forgive me if I sound dumb in my words, it’s just because I don’t know who else to ask. At this point I’m convinced I somehow fried my motherboard, even though I’ve been on a hardwood floor this whole time
  14. Crap, well I guess I’ll have to wait until the end of this month to do anything about it. I don’t exactly have the money to just buy another motherboard on the fly, since I’m still in high school. Thanks though. Now I know.
  15. Ok, so today my new Montech X1 PC came just came in the mail. I dismantled my Dell Optiplex 5050 pc to put into this new case, but I’ve run into a problem. I can’t fit the motherboard into the case because of this small protruding bit on it. And I can’t figure out how to fit it inside. Any help is appreciated, since I’m already losing my patience.
