And it's not like I don't try it, too. I have cherry flavored stuff often. Every once in a while I'll give cherry pepsi or coke another try, I'll buy Ultra Black monster, I'll try actual cherry fruit. I just don't like it. I'm the type of person who tries things multiple times even if I know I won't like them, and so when I say I don't like something I really mean it. Also dislike coconut flavored anything and watermelon flavored anything. I do dig a nice Pina Colada though.

Anything cherry flavored can die.

Yeah, it's baja blast. I used to live an hour walk away from a record store that sold them in the mini fridge up at the counter, and taco bell usually has it in their machines.

It's definitely good to know what you're putting into your body. Fat isn't inherently bad, it's sugar that'll fuck you up. I personally drink soda once a week, maybe twice, so I don't take in that kind of sugar every day. I prefer my boomer juice, aka Monster Ultra Zero. Zero sugar, either Zero or 10 calories, can't remember. Those I drink all the time.

I was born in Brazil, where we had actual Coke and Pepsi. Both tasted great, and wildly different. Pepsi had a lime version which tasted like cola with a hint of lime and it was much better than Coke. I think it was called Pepsi Twist? The bottle had a little lime dude as a mascot. That being said, American soda is trash. Pepsi and Coke here have to abide by the FDA, who makes them use less Caramel-7, which is what gives the cola I knew from Brazil the sweet taste I've come to miss. What's strange to me is somehow American Coke and Pepsi have more sugar and are less sweet than their Brazilian cousins. Fun little anecdote, last meal I had in Brazil was at the McDonald's airport. My mom got me a Cheddar McMelt, another amazing meal not found in the states(double cheese burger with the darker bun, and extra cheese), and I had my last Brazilian coke. Wish I had savored it more and not hurled in the Federal Police's trash bin at the airport out of 9 year old nervousness. Soon as I stepped into the US, first meal we had was also McDonald's, and not only was I terribly upset they didn't have the Cheddar McMelt, or the cheesy bacon fries(that Wendy's now has), when I took my first sip of American coke I asked my mom if they watered it down in fast food places here. Which, they do, but regular American coke to me tastes watered down straight from the can. Short Answer: Pepsi, if we're talking regular. Coke, if I'm allowed to run to Chipotle and get the Mexican kind. The Mexicans know what the fuck is up and use cane sugar, I believe, in their cola.

Hey, I'm working on a hell map for a project and I'm wondering what vanilla textures would work well with the current palette I have. I'm currently using reds and grays for textures, and some lava as well.

Abaddon's Garrison(BETA Version, Help Wanted)
Pompeji replied to Pompeji's topic in WAD Releases & Development
Thank you so much for the amazing track, Ivan :) Maybe after I finish my contributions to Doom III I'll revisit this one and finish it! -
Download While not necessary, I recommend the mods "Dead Marine" and "Nash's Gore Mod." They will enhance your experience. Screenshots: Name: Abaddon's Garrison Map Format: Doom in Doom II Format Ports Tested: GZDoom IWAD: Doom 2 Map: MAP01 Music: This map uses an original MIDI track by Ivan Stanton ( @northivanastan). The MIDI has been released under the Creative Commons Zero license, which is equivalent to public domain - so do whatever you want with it. You can download the MIDI here: https://opengameart.org/content/the-ritual (assuming nobody takes that URL first) northivanastan's Bandcamp: https://ivanastan.bandcamp.com/ Textures: Credit to @Mechadon for the sky texture used! Gameplay: Map made for Single Player. Difficulty Settings: Yes Multiplayer Placement: No Build Time: Around one month. Requirements: Probably only works in GZDoom, as it makes use of MAPINFO and I also received reports of bugs in other engines. So here's the deal. This is my second map ever. And it's unfinished. I've been struggling with some mental health issues, and I just got a new computer and need to switch over to it so I thought it perfect to upload this map now. Truth is, I feel burnt out. I know there's texture bugs, I know there's no monsters or pickups in the very last area, and that's what this title is all about. If anybody is willing to take the rest of this map and finish it, and add some more minute details, and work with me on getting it done, I will be eternally grateful. Shoot me a DM and we can discuss it. The feedback I'm looking for is mostly on the enemy placement and difficulty. I did my best to improve from my last map, but I am not perfect. There are probably misaligned textures, and if they're noticeable enough, do tell. I plan on finishing this map in the future, if I get help. If not, I will take a break from it to work on bigger and better things. What things you may ask? Doom 3: IDKFA edition(name subject to change). I'll be contributing a few maps to that project, and so I want to diverge my focus to those maps instead of this one. Also part of why I'd like someone to help me out and finish it up. Give the project some love: Cheers, Pompeji.

Haven't finished Eviternity yet, but first chaingunner that showed up and shit down my throat made me think "Wow, this map is fucking amazing and the people who made it are talented. I, however, am not patient enough for this." Then I booted up Wolfenstein 3D on "Can I play, Daddy?" and had a great time.
