  1. Yeah I was also pleasantly surprised how well they adapted the games, given the recent tragedies like that awfull Halo or Witcher shows (especialy The Witcher, which my sis couldn´t stomach). And that´s coming from someone like me who is usualy an OG Fallout purist who ocasionaly respects some Bethesda lore additions (but mostly eyerolls the rest), so collor me surprised that they mostly sticked the landing. Here´s hoping that it keeps the quality for later seasons
  2. Could it be possible (in theory) to create a generative AI in a fixed enviroment that acts like an NPC? Like take for an example a generative AI that has to function as an enemy soldier. It has a simple task to locate player character and kill him. You then give this AI limited resources like a weapon and an enviroment to train in. Is such a tech possible and if so, how would it differ from current game AI?
  3. Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh, what the hell is that? What games are you even playing on this?!
  4. Yeah, have any of you moffos tried to mess around in Mednafen or ;shuders; Mame?
  5. I think it´s more of a "the level design and combat encounters are outdated" rather than overall difficulty. This was very apparent with a lot of Memento Mori maps that had some pretty big stinkers with stupidly designed combat setpieces
  6. What about dem games though? Compared to previous iterations I heard the library is lackluster
  7. Uhh DiceByte, you know Mushroom and I are just playing a character, right?
  8. You gaystation nerds think you're hotbshitbrigjt now, but wait until Bill Gates arives with his army of XBOTS to kick your ASS!!!
  9. I played it myself a couple months ago. It´s a squad turnbased strategy game with RPG mechanics, with permadeath for your squadmembers. It´s pretty deep and complex for it´s time and allows you a variety of freedom when taking objectives. Ultimately it was a tad bit too complex and frustrating to me, since I usualy preffer single player RPG, where you dont have to manage your squad too heavily or strategy games like X-Com where your grunts are more expandable and you can rely on Soviet human wave tactics. I might give it another (5th?) chance, but these days I´m more interested in short arcade games, so I´ll see about that.
  10. Hope you at least made a designer wallpaper out of them for nice $$$. If not, then make sure to call me. I know some people
  11. Haven´t actualy played for a long time. Maybe I´ll make a post asking folks on what wads to play to get back in the scene
  12. @TheMagicMushroomMan You know, now that I'm at a phase of life to trying to become the most snoby motherfucker, I could go for some nice Erotic French comedy. @Rudolph I'd also like to further apologoze to you Rudolph. Normaly I don't get so worked when discusing movies, but sometimes I get unreasonably angry. It was unfair and petty of me to lash at you so much.
  13. You know what maybe you are right, I don't even like Slop Wars anymore. But it still upsets me how Disney could have fumbled such a big cultural icon with such a blatant missmanagement and how they absolutely drained it's original feel and turned into a Marvel clone
  14. Never implied you did, just that you uncriticaly parrot their talking points. Yeah realy nice, just because I want to give the man his due that suddenly makes me some Lucas cultist. The man has many flaws, but I´ll still take his direction over any zombie directors in employ of Disney, warts and all. That goes for Filony AND especialy Abrams.
