Trailer music sounds very dull and uninspired, like AI generated, totally sounds like Hulshult's style. I am suprised they resigned from working with Andrew and Levy also Mick is out of the question. I don't know, he isn't that experienced besides, his music is also dull and uninspired his covers sounds like an original song with a shitty metal filter.

'Grounded levels', "you are an abrams tank instead of a fighter jet", "stand and fight combat", "slower projectiles", "change of pace". They removed the best thing from eternal which was movement and turned the game into serious sam. My hype died.

I hope for something like "advanced gameplay trailer" I am ultra-nightmare player and to me in this trailer doomguy is in a wheelchair. Also I am not a fan of Hulshult, Levy is ok but still like a cheaper version of Mick.

Looks nice and all, shit's cool especially dragon and mech but the movement seems underwhelming more like a serious sam game than doom, slower pace compared to eternal, I don't see meathook which was THE best addition and movement tool in eternal, lack of verticality. We have to wait for more trailers, so far I am looking forward to it but I am not blown away. Also I am worried about the music, obviously Mick is not working with Id anymore so music may be a let down.

I agree, Doom 2016, eternal and ultrakill create a micro genre of "very fast paced shooters". I would even go further and in my opinion Ultrakill makes a micro subgenre on its own where the emphasis is put on movement/dodging/parrying so "very fast paced movement shooter" -
On one hand that makes sense. On the other hand why were they using Hugo as their best PR material then? Countless amounts of interviews, dozens of livestreams, interacting with community, people love this chubby dad of modern dooms. Imagine the outrage if Hugo was fired, it would be much greater than the one after ending partnership with Mick.

You forgot about 2 major DLCs. They finished working on eternal only one year ago, and later Id released major updates with master levels, horde mode, battlemode 2.0 etc. There is no way they are going to announce anything this year maaaaaybe next year at best. Doom franchise is not call of duty, Id won't release shitty game every year but rather good game every 5 years. -

Yes, not to mention Hugo emphasising multiple times how he absolutely LOVES this mechanic and also taking into consideration that Sekiro is his favorite game we are probably going to see more marauder bullshit in the future. Btw. last stream we had a tiny tiny premise that Id is working on something else than doom Hugo said: "Only thing I want to do are doom games" then immediately corrects himself and says: "I shouldn't say that, I want to make action FPS games at Id". Besides, Slayer's arc is over so it makes sense to leave doom for now, but only time will tell. Maybe we shouldn't be so harsh about the DLC it is clear they didn't have much time and they were trying their best, even if it is not very good it is ok. Only thing to do is to wait for another game and we are gonna wait quite a long time sicne thay stopped working on eternal only in march this year after DLC2 release and they still produce new content like master levels, horde mode and maybe even invasion mode I think the next game won't drop before 2025. . Really? that is dissapointing I am not playing on english version and I didn't notice that. Translation seems fine. -
Hugo confirmed the hammer for the horde mode but it will be rebalanced and require 4 glory kills/weakpoints to fully charge.

I think any kind of multiplayer in a doom game is nothing but a waste of dev time, there are already fuck-ton of multiplayer games and small amount of good singpleplayer games in comparison. Not every game needs multiplayer. Longer, better singleplayer campaign, horde mode, mod support >> invasion, battlemode, deathmatch, whatever... -
