  1. i think the pandemic definitely had a major impact on my work ethic. I'm not sure exactly why, but I just have had significantly less motivation to do things in the past couple years.
  2. Download (Google Drive) A nice little Midi I made on a whim. It's Creep by Radiohead, but jazz (?)
  3. here i sit, bewildered by this wad i have just experienced. i haven't really made any doom maps in a while, and i've been wanting to get back into it. but now i realize, it would be a fruitless effort, as nothing i could ever make would amount to this masterpiece of game design.
  4. D2MD M21v3 - bagellio.zip fixed the issues with the arachnotrons at the end. was definitely interesting revisiting this map over a year after i first made it lol.
  5. sailing.zip A short map I made a while back that I never uploaded. You're on a pirate ship, kill the demons. I'm pretty sure there aren't any bugs, but I put this version together pretty quickly, so I may have not noticed something. Let me know if something needs changed or fixed. Name: Sailing! Format: Limit Removing, with ZDoom MAPINFO Midi: Midi Version of Sailing! by Yukiko Nishimura Play Time: 5 Minutes tops.
  6. In case it wasn't obvious by me making a whole wad about it, I really like Christmas. But this year, it just doesn't feel right. I don't quite know how to describe it, but it just doesn't feel like Christmas right now. Where I am, it is currently 55 degrees outside, and its raining. When I went for a walk the other day, it looked like it could have been a September day. I've seen some people sharing similar feelings to me, but what are your thoughts?
  7. oh jeez, i completely forgot about this project. i started my map back in like march, but took a bit of a break from doom for a while. I am going to be quite busy in the coming weeks, so I am gonna have to drop out of this project.
  8. can't wait to see John.wad at the cacowards
  9. I've only really been into the Doom modding community for about 6 months and my WAD folder is 12 gigabytes.
  10. When you feel burnt out, whether it be from creative work or just life, what is something that you do to help? For me, one of the things that helps is to make a change in my routine. I believe that following the same routine every single day will destroy your creativity, though sometimes you don't have much of a choice. I try to go outside, usually on a walk around my neighborhood, just to get some air and some sun. Of course, my seasonal allergies don't appreciate this very much, but I think it benefits my mind and mental state at least a little bit.
  11. For a children's SNES game, Plok's boss theme is certainly interesting.
  12. i don't know if you're willing to do joke wads, but i would appreciate some overall feedback on the enjoyability of the first map of a project i'm working on. it's plays jokes on the player at times, but i don't want it to be so annoying that it makes people stop playing, if you know what i mean.
  13. bitofajiffyMAP01.zip "the year is 201X and you are a space marine. everything is normal until all of the blueberries are stolen!! now you gotta go get them back!" so i'm back from doing..... "stuff" and now here is the first map of a wad i am working on titled "Bit of a Jiffy, Innit? (Or: The Quest for more Blueberries)". i couldn't decide which title was sillier so i went with both for maximum silliness. i started this wad a while ago then kinda forgot about it for a while, but i've decided to come back to it. it's... interesting, to say the least. basically, if you're looking for a fun, traditional doom experience, you've come to the wrong place. (obviously, this is a joke wad, but i still want this wad to overall function and be a least somewhat fun, even if it does torture you a little lol. if there are parts that are a bit "too much" then say so.) this is just the first map, the full wad will be an episode in length (8 maps + 1 secret). IWAD: Doom2.wad Source Ports: Tested with GZDoom, and is intended for it. Filename: bitofajiffyMAP01.wad Maps: MAP01 Gameplay: Vanilla (?) Mouselook: No Jump: NO!! Crouch: No Screenshots:
