Colton Herta set a new track record during qualifying for today's running of the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach. I'm a bit surprised that Ferrari is capable of racing at such a pace when they've got as bad a porpoising issue as they have. If you've seen their HelmetCam images from the world feed, it's horrendously bad down the straights. Either everyone else is tremendously slow everywhere else, or their drivers are in a galaxy of their own. It's going to be a very interesting race come Imola in two weeks time.

What's the worst thing a pet has done? Depends on the timeframe. Back when I was a kid, about 4 or 5 years old, I had an outdoor cat that scratched me pretty bad and gave me - no joke - Cat Scratch Fever. And no, I'm not talking about the Ted Nugent song, I'm talking about the very real disease. Caused my lymph nodes to swell up and made me very ill for a while. I had the disease long, long before Ted Nugent even thought about writing the song.

I'm finally out of the neck brace, after living in it for six long weeks. My neck feels extremely weird now that it's no longer confined to a horse collar. Hurts a bit, too - I keep catching myself turning my head, which tweaks the bits the surgeon operated on. He promises me that this will hurt less with the upcoming six weeks of physical therapy he's prescribed.

The NTT INDYCAR Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach will be held this Sunday. EDT. Colton Herta won the 2021 race, with Josef Newgarden and Scott Dixon finishing second and third. The 2021 race also crowned Alex Palou as the NTT INDYCAR series champion for the year, as it was the final race on the calendar for 2021.

In previous years, other stations have at least shown a 5-10 second highlights package of the race during the news broadcasts. This year, nothing. Not a whimper. That's what I was getting at.

Not all. I did two Chiptunes for the minigames. I don't know if they're regular minigames or secret minigames, but they're in there somewhere.

I wound up watching spring training baseball today. Don't even care about the teams. I know I'll catch grief for this, but I'm a major Houston Astros fan, if I haven't said it already. Haters gonna hate. :)
