  1. This is awesome, thanks for sharing.
  2. George Stobbart from the broken sword games
  3. Lara croft, specially on the crystal dynamics trilogy (legends, anniversary, underworld)
  4. I got it for Kindle so the binding does not apply to mine. I have also been reading many stuff from the Appendix N. Personally, I had a great time with Lord Dunsany, Michael Moorcock and Úrsula LeGuin.
  5. The cramps - bikini girls with machineguns
  6. Nice, this is my second Discworld book. I started with the City Watch novels. This is the second book in the series, both of them have been very good. The first one is slightly funnier, but both have been worth reading. I love how he can tell a noir-esque story while retaining fantasy and comedy elements and succeed in all genres.
  7. Wrapping up Men at Arms. Thinking of reading Swords against death by Fritz Leiber next.
  8. I work on IT (network support) for an american company. I dont like it at all, but I at least get the chance to work from home. About 4 years ago i went back to college to get a librarian degree, back then there were plenty of opportunities on the public sector. Two years ago we got a very right leaning president elected and the education and culture budgets got quite a big hit. I will graduate in a couple of months, but dont think i will be able to change jobs anytime soon until the next election.
  9. Such a loss. As a ttrpg player I find it surprising that her works are related to many of my hobbies, she inspired not only a generation of mappers but also took part in some of the greatest video games of all time A couple of days ago I saw this on itch.io https://itch.io/jam/jennell-jaquays-memorial-game-jam looks like there is a memorial game jam going on. It is rpg related, so not sure if it may be of interest of the community but posting here in case it appeals to someone
  10. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AnYLFvQrLco Love on the Sudan / Billy Harper Quintet
  11. At a local restaurant / store. Wife gets a little obsessed over Christmas.
  12. This just came on the radio. Looks like Faye Wong has a cover of Cocteau Twins "Know Who You Are At Every Age".
