  1. Finished this one and Winter's fury! Amazing wads, I hope to see a new encounter!
  2. Paradise is pretty good but Godless Night reachs a new level. Finished this masterpiece... three times (tough, extreme and ruin). I think that tough is the most enjoyable and balanced dificulty. Extreme is a bit harder but if you already know the maps you can beat it as easily as tough. Ruin is on another level, only for masochist nerds who enjoy beating over the top battles.
  3. Map 23. A "ghost" ball fall in a monster teleport area and it reached an infinite loop
  4. Well, I ended handcrafting some switches.
  5. I'm mapping a small chapter where the hero go through ancient ruins. I was thinking that switches made out of stone would fit better in the enviroment. Is there any texture pack that contains some of this? A example image:
  6. I like to storage the Wads I've played or that I want to play in the next weeks, I need to take in consideration: - iWad - Complevel - Played or not (it may seems a joke but when you have played a ton of wads over 30 years...) Do you use a spreadsheet? folder organization?
  7. Sunder and Abadon but I cant play them more than one hour in a seat in order to avoid outrage and to punch the screen.
  8. In less than 24 hours the project have 50 comments and more than 32 maps claimed!! Ha! My outrage became a hell of a clickbait xD Well, it doesn't matter I'm glad the idea worked out. Limiting monsters type was a good idea, initially I thought about a max of one cyber or spider mastermind but I didn't write it. For this kind of maps I recommend taking a look to my map or the map of @Insane_Gazebo in Haste. He give me the idea of using an instant teleport that works almost like a script. It's pretty useful if you want to see a bunch of enemies appear at once. Edit: a screenshot of Sunder map 20 where you can see it Edit2: umapinfo is pretty useful for DSDA and Woof but you will need to duplicate its content in MapInfo if you want to disallow jump/crouch in gzdoom.
  9. Played this one today. A great "speed mapping" map xD. Visually amazing, balanced difficulty and it's pretty fun.
  10. Nice idea this reviews you should open a free website in github (or something like that) to keep your reviews organized.
  11. Last two coments give me the impression this post is being trolled... Nah, topic closed from my side.
  12. There is also a 10 monsters project that I got to know thanks to @Aurelius I was just experimenting about mapping something hard with very few enemies, accidentally I ended with 30 monsters and I though some people would like the idea.
  13. EDIT: topic trolled, ignore it OK, I challenge community to craft a hard, and somehow interesting, MBF21 map with JUST 30 monsters. Simple rules: Doom 2, MBF21 (because it's the new standard), hard map with only 30 monsters, custom music, stock textures (additional can be added), targeted source port new DSDA and GzDoom. Just post the map here with some screenshots. If there are enough maps we can even make this a community project. First map as an example: Bloody Experience.
