  1. I'm gonna have to agree there; after trying it out again, it really isn't that much of a porting disaster. Definitely has some flaws, but it's not in the same levels of shabbiness as 32X or 3DO Doom.
  2. Shadow Warrior has to be my favorite. I find it to be very underrated.
  3. Don't know if somebody already talked about this, but there's also the Super Nintendo port. It was censored to hell due to Nintendo's strict policies at the time; this meant that there were no Nazi-related imagery and no blood (unless you count BJ's face below 25% health; i think that's the only uncensored part of the game); the censorship also replaced the dogs with freakin' huge rats of all things.
  4. I'm tryna beat Hell Revealed II after beating the first one. Man was that first WAD a nightmare. Playing with PrB+. I'm currently on MAP08 btw.
  5. A great replacement for the "Your Skill is Not Enough" Skulltag medal.
  6. I think my first time playing Doom was around 2011 (I was 9 during that year), so yea, I'm kind of new here. I played it through a Flash game on a CoolMathGames-esque website. It was called the "Doom Triple Pack", which was a port of the shareware versions of Doom, Heretic and Hexen into Adobe Flash. I barely made it far into the levels though; I think I gave up at E1M4, I think? I never got through E1M1 in Heretic, nor MAP01 in Hexen, however. I remember getting scared at E1M3's blue keycard trap, heh.
