Played Doom when it first came out on a crappy pc (had to play on a tiny window to get maybe 15fps and no sound card so just beeps), then again on the 3DO. Somehow this didn't stop me playing again on PSX, played the hell out of both games and Final Doom for years. Came back for more on the GBA.

Then the years past and I forgot Doom. I nearly rediscovered it after reading a PC gamer article about the thriving modding scene. Some I bought classic doom, modded the shit out of it, threw in brutal doom, played a few stages and then uninstalled.

And I thought that was it until last year. I picked up the switch ports and discovered the add-on section.

Year later and now play doom on both my PC and my tablet all the time. I actually prefer playing with a controller on both systems. The sheer amount of amazing WADS people have been making for 30 years is staggering. My thanks to the amazing community for making my favorite game of my teens into my favorite game of all time.
