ENPRO SECTOR 1 Coolant Transfer: 1 Wraith (40 hp, triggered when you approach the first corpse) 1 Wraith (40 hp, triggered when you kill the first wraith) 1 Pistol (getting close to the metal box give you all of the items immediately, but causes a bug when you don't get all the ammo) 1 Bullets (just get the large bullets first carefully) 1 Bullets Large (get this first, so says the wiki) Coolant Junction: 1 Wraith (40 hp, IMMEDIATELY after you pass through the door) 1 Imp (behind you when you approach the second descending stairs after having picked up the security armor) 1 Wraith (when approaching the stairs in front of where you first entered) 2 Machine Guns 1 Clip Large 1 Security Armor 2 Clip Small 3 Armor Shards 1 Health Station (at 100% because it's BFG Edition ofc) 1 Imp (when approaching the small stairs) 1 Medkit Small 1 Machine Gun Primary Coolant Transfer: 1 Wraith (4 seconds after passing the crate with the ammo and getting the objective) 1 Wraith (immediately after killing the first one) 1 Wraith (1 second after killing the second one) 1 Imp (2.5 seconds after killing the second wraith, killing all 4 opens the door after 1.5 seconds) 1 Zombie Commando (1.6 seconds after killing all 4 enemies) 1 Wraith 1 Shotgun 2 Shells Small Coolant Transfer: 1 Zombie (aggros when you go around either corner) 1 Imp (LEAPING on sight when you open the door to the next room) 1 Wraith (behind you, 1 second after killing the imp) 1 Clip Large 1 Shells Small 3 Armor Shards 1 Medkit Large Energy Transfer Sector 4: 1 Imp (after entering the room) 1 Zombie (aggros when you enter the room) 1 Imp (when approaching the control panels) 1 Zombie (wakes up when you approach him, he's next to the control panels) 1 Medkit Large 1 Shells Small Canister Monitor Station: 1 Zombie (triggered when you enter the room) 1 Zombie (wakes up when the first zombie sees you, uses quite an interesting function and a relay with a delay of 2 seconds) 1 Medkit Large Service Junction: 1 Fat Zombie (spawns when you approach his alcove) 2 Machine Guns 1 Clip Small 1 Medkit Small Canister Fill Station 4: 1 Imp (when you enter the section, going around the corner where the zombie was) Canister Fill Station 3: 2 Armor Shards 1 Medkit Small 1 Zombie Commando (0.15 seconds after approaching the previously locked door, only after having killed the 5 enemies that are in this area) Service Junction: 1 Imp (on the catwalk above after approaching the first stairs) 1 Zombie (wakes up 1 second after triggering the imp) 1 Zombie (wakes up 4 seconds after triggering the imp) 2 Armor Shards (down the ladder) 1 Medkit Large (down the ladder) 2 Shells Small (down the ladder) Coolant Transfer: 1 Imp (after passing an arbitrary trigger) 1 Imp (behind you after killing the previous imp) 1 Imp (3 seconds after killing the first imp) 1 Medkit Large 1 Shells Large Maintenance Area 07: WIP Ahh, I'm finally back. That was a long break. The guide was almost close to getting sucked into the abyss known as the second page of the forum, and of course I didn't want that. Oh well, here we are, with half of the first level of the most boring expansion???? What is this, after such a long time you couldn't even finish a whole level? Whell I'm falling asleep, and at least half of my sleepiness is because of this level. The thrill of extracting the resources, launching the editor and writing everything in Notepad kept me going, it was a huge nostalgia hit. Why did I stop anyways? Oh right the next levels are reused parts from levels I already described in detail with absolutely nothing new. Sadly I had no BigMacDavis guide to watch side by side. I can't blame him, but as boring as these levels are they aren't as boring to play, I had a blast last time I played through these. 3 years ago. As always, please correct me if I'm making any mistakes, I'm only using the editor and haven't actually played the game since the first posts I've made so I can't check. Thank you for supporting me all this time, we're almost to 10 000 views! I love you
  3. Thank you for your response, and I apologize again for what I wrote. I wish you the best. As for The Lost Mission, that is exactly how I felt too. I wanted to make my guide as complete as possible, but I really don't feel like checking every map in TLM as well. I swear I'm not lazy it is just boring and uneventful. Have a great day/ night, sorry to bother you. I don't know what came to me.
  4. I am reviving this thread for a good reason. Code red: @Li'l devil is back. I am going to ask politely about those grenades in alpha labs, lost souls in enpro and trite in recycling sector 1. There will be no violence. I just wanna talk to him. I just want to talk to him. Edit: I am stupid and sometimes get too excited this wasn't funny and came off as creepy don't mind me.
  5. OH MY GOD. Are you actually *the* Lil' Devil? Where were you all this time? How do I put this lightly: I LOVE YOU. But I have so many questions! How did you make those lists for the items in Doom 3? I spent LOTS AND LOTS OF TIME looking at them, thinking about what items I missed in my guide, but how did you actually get the lost soul counts? Did you go looking for EVERY monster in the editor in both editions for ALL expansions? Does that mean that there are 2 clinically insane about Doom 3 people on this earth? Did you use the editor item lists, but that can't be since what you wrote on the wiki is different. I have looked through every update history for every page because some of them drove me MAD I mean those extra grenades in the BFG Edition in Alpha Labs 2 really existed? I looked for them EVERYWHERE that was my whole life I then edited the wiki page I couldn't take it anymore please excuse me for my schizo rambling but what you did for the wiki pages is unbelievably amazing and useful I couldn't map every item and enemy without your counts I was thinking everyday about who Lil Devil and why did they stop. Again, you are a legend, I crave a full interview with you. Sorry for posting this in this thread:)
  6. Thank you, this is giant news, on par with the method to get 100% secrets on Industrial Zone. We can now finally get 100% items!
  7. At least you guys get posts on your side of the forum. The Doom 3 subforum is really empty and I am envious of the new people just joining in Doom Classic and starting to integrate in the community, where veteran players can talk to them, hostile or not :) Even after the biggest resurgence in Doom 3 that happened last month, where almost every single post on r/Doom was about the game literally ONE person joined Doomworld and asked if his modern pc specs are good enough. And guess what? I loved it, even though it wasn't much I sorely missed the newb posts, new people is exactly what the community needs. So be grateful and most of all respectful to these new people that perhaps don't know much about how the forum works or if it already has asked before. Bad time to post this as the biggest legend in Doom 3 modding Brian Trepanier returned to modding, but still not that many posts about Doom 3.
  8. I agree, idtech4 is way better than the vanilla Doom engine. Even the number is bigger!! Idtech4 is still derived from the source code of quake 1 AND it works at 120fps with only the chaingun breaking! Take that uncited source that says quake runs at 100fps in that specific resolution. Did somebody say nice shadows and lighting? Carmack's stencil shadowing is the way to go. Just ask for RTX mod and uncompressed 4k textures to @Arl or Xyzz in the idtech4 server, I am very sure you will not get death threats from the members! Quake total conversion in Doom engine? You mean Quake 4? Idtech 4 got you covered as always. I'm not high iq enough to understand your point, I haven't watched rick and morty, but I am sure Doom 3 has movement code as well. DOOM IN A QUAKE ENGINE WAS DONE LONG AGO IT'S JUST DOOM3/QUAKE 4. It should have been called qoom tho :( Shitposting and trolling aside, I LOVE the Idtech4 editor, it's so easy to use braindead people like me can write 3 pages of text while only looking at it and still not get bored, check my guide. It's better than hammer and better than any other builder out there. Fight me. Again, you say lighting I say idtech 4. VERDICT: STOP PLAYING DOOM VANILLA. STOP PLAYING QUAKE. YOU NEED IDTECH4 IN YOUR LIFE AS YOUR SAVIOUR it literally covers all your points. But nice trolling though :)
  9. Have you tried turning it off and on again?

I also posted this on Reddit! I want to get this to help as many people as possible. EDIT: It got 0 upvotes ok nvm I got a downvote too :) why
  11. I have to ask you, what should I do first? Except the spreadsheet, that will be done soon I swear, I realised yesterday that half the headshot data was wrong since some entities inherit others' damage scale data. It's complicated and it has to be redone. So please choose what should I focus my life on right now: - Keep adding more info to this guide and clutter it even more - Move on to Lost Mission (boring but it will be done eventually) - Move on to Quake 4 (I've made a guide like this to almost half of those levels already) - Move on to Doom Eternal (Yes, I've extracted all the encounter files. I could do a guide just like this if anyone's interested) - Research mechanics in the source code? (I don't want to terrorize the people on the idtech4 server anymore I've angered them enough) - JUST FINISH THAT SPREADSHEET ALREADY - Update the steam guide for accessibility? Maybeee...? - Make even more video walkthroughs (BMD will do those first but just saying it's an option) - Finish the long text walkthroughs on the wiki (past administration) I just want to be helpful and do something useful with my spare time.
  12. Yes. It even runs on a Voodoo 2 card from 1998. I got it to work on the first Intel Atom and even the S3 Mini with 30+ FPS. You can run it. And while you're at it, you can even install some graphic mods. H3llBarons' D3HDP is by far the best looking mod out there.
