  1. Hello there! I know that the 3rd person camera technique has been used several times before, but I wanted to try it myself. It's a very short map that uses fixed cameras instead of the classic first view. UDMF format and Doom II assets used, tested with GZDoom 4.10.0. May not work with other ports. This level occupies the map slot MAP01. Use the mouse in the direction desired to move, and the movement keys to advance. If you feel you are stucked (for example, teleporting) just use the move controls. "Plot": The Slayer is plunged into another plane of his existence, but that does not stop him from obliterating demons. Download from here: The Slayer's Fixed Camera Adventure
  2. Thanks for taking the time to make the video (although the map is very short :))! thelamp hahaha* *sorry, is still funny
  3. Hi La Lámpara! (your nick is very funny!!), can you play this map? The format is UDMF and only was tested with GZDoom (4.10.0, but recent previous versions would work). Short and average-Easy. Cheers! Dimensions of Dismay
  4. Thanks for the video!. And again for discovering the bug! :)
  5. Sorry @GreenSlayer, can you download the map again? A member of the forum discovered an stupid error with the final keys! Thanks!
  6. That's weird! it was intended to be keycards, but you are right!. I tested it in the beginning of the map creation and worked... Sorry all for the bug, it's fixed now. Thanks Berserker!
  7. Hi! can you make a video of this map?: Dimensions of Dismay 1. Source Port: GZDoom 4.10.0 (works on previous versions). 2. Map Number: MAP01 3. Map Name: Dimensions of Dismay 4. Difficulty: I think its average on UV difficulty. 5. How many maps is it: One map. 6. Map Format and what source ports it won't work on : UDMF format, sorry i don't tested on another ports. 7. IWAD: Doom II 8. Any other important things or details: Free look recommended.
  8. Hi! this map uses UDMF format, Doom II assets, 32in24-15_tex_v2.wad textures and was tested with GZDoom 4.10.0. May not work with other ports. "The Collector" music made by James Paddock (downloaded from www.jamespaddockmusic.com). Jumping allowed and free look recommended. There are some dynamic lights. Uses Doom II MAP01 slot. "Plot": You are plunged into a dimensional nightmare, from which it is up to you to escape. Download from here: Dimensions of Dismay
  9. Thanks for playing and for the video. Yeah, i thought that the secret was easier to find, sorry! Tengo más mapas en mi sitio, de dudosa calidad obviamente, ajajja :)
  10. Thanks for playing, for the tips, and for the video! Yeah, i think I was lazy about the unpegged stuff, sorry. The texture for the wall has minimal brightness difference, apparently it was not enough. About the "switched" door, it was intended to enter the next room, I did not think about the back and forth fight. It was a mistake obviously. And for the lava thing.... i completely forgot to illuminate it! it was on my plan!. Sorry again, lately i have my head elsewhere and rushed the release of the map. I deserve a few lashes ahaha. I don't think I'll make maps again, anxiety in the end plays against me. Thanks again and cheers!.
  11. Hello there!, this map uses UDMF format, Doom II assets, vanilla textures and was tested with GZDoom 4.10.0. May not work with other ports. Jumping and free look required. There are some dynamic lights. Uses Doom II MAP01 slot. "Plot": A place where no one should go. A place where everything is corruption and death. A place Where Evil Dwells. Download from here: Donde mora el Mal
  12. Thank you for playing! Yes, I understand you, with more elaborated maps, anxiety ends up winning me and makes me took bad choices in design :( I am also one of those who play just to have fun. Cheers!
