Well, this is my second single map I've made so first. So my first map (Curse Of Reverence) was pretty much a success and was proud of my first map set I've created. Introducing my second map, which is in deeper in hell, but frozen with snow, Cocytus! I did a different approach to this map where I've added some platform elements (inspired by Crash Bandicoot and some old school platformer games from the 90s and early 00s) so jumping/crunching is required in this map because there some secrets that jumping is needed. Then added some ambience effects too in map to make feels like you're in a dangerous environment. So i don't want to spoil the whole thing without you'll playing it for yourself. So here's screenshots for your viewing pleasure! note: I used some mods like universal weather and ambience, then fog on this map to make it more atmospheric and creepy. Welp the progress of my new map is about 80% done. The environments is done. All that left is balance of ammos and monsters, and maybe few secrets here and there. But, here's the screen shot of the map so far. -

When I was playing Dante's Inferno (back in high school in 2010), on the last circle of hell before the final boss, I was so surprised about the environment and makes me questioning like "How the hell can it freeze over yet what stories we were told that hell was all fire and hot?". That when all the idea now was pop in my head recently and that why this WIP happened. Not to mention that there gonna be some platforming similar to let say Crash Bandicoot to give it some twist in the combat. -

Honesty, Elden Ring takes everything what was best about the past soulsborne games and put it all together into one, but with an open-world element to it, which i am not really an fan of open-world games due to being burned out, but somehow nailed it in the department. It's a hell of a experiences as you progress through the game. Is the best game ever made? No! But is it worth playing? Yes. You'll die 100000 times in the game, but at the end, you'll be able to overcome those error and being rewarded for beaten the bosses. I've played many past FromSoftware games and beaten it (some even 4 times on Dark Souls 1), Elden Ring to me feels more like less bullshit, but still bullshit in the game. The reason why Elden Ring was so hyped up because there really no other new games coming out this year that has high expectation (if you count God Of War Ragnarok which is Sony exclusive) and people were so tired of mediocre, disappointing games.

Imagine being in hell, but what if there part of hell that freezes over, colder than the north and even Antarctica? This is a single level wad of course, but it already in work but about around maybe 50%-70%ish till it's done for release? Thank you all for playing my first map! I love all the feedbacks and supports you'll giving me and this encouraged me more to update and fixed some bugs according to feedbacks (also watch videos of the playthrough too ;) ). Here's the list of all the fixed I've done so far on 1.2 version: - Fixed the invisible wall after picking up the yellow skull key - put monsters behind wall ambush in the main hall after collecting each keys - Tone the fog and darkness down a bit. (not sure if it too dark, but if too dark, try tone the brightness a bit or use flashlight mod) - Added the wall at the end of the level where you have to take out the Cyberdemon and the rest before the floor let down. - Put little bit of health and ammos - Added the script behind the yellow door where you have to take out the enemies before you go on. P.S. I am working on another single map which is takes place in hell, but colder than the North. CurseOfReverence1.2.rar

New details on the Duke Nukem Forever 2001 build

After reading about the details of Duke Nukem Forever (2001), I thought i would never see the light of the day with all the years of development hell, but because of the leaks from 4chan, looks like it has been finally surfaced after 20+ years of never being in the public eyes. Looks like 2022 isn't that bad! -
Windows 7 is to me the best OS ever to be made! Despite being raised with Windows 98, Windows XP and Windows Vista (it was the worst I've ever used in that time), Windows XP is my second favorite due to the nostalgia behind it. Windows 7 is my most used OS in my life because it was so customizable and not as bloated as Windows 8 and 10. Too bad, that micro$oft shut down the update of it, but people like me are gonna remember Windows 7 for years to come.

As you can read from the title, despite in the past that I previously attempted to create my own Doom map, I lost interested and motivation to continue further. Finally after all the time of playing many Doom level wads and has been inspired by many, I've decided to create my own Doom single level wad. I introduce you, Curse Of Reverence. Although, despite of my lack of my previous experiences with the doom builder, i've studied, experiment and give myself thoughts of what map i can bring to the table. Some may not be perfect, this was best thing i've did. I was so proud of myself that I've managed to make such a simple, yet detailed map. For those who wonder where I got the title from, It's named after one of my favorite Emperor (black metal band from Norway) song from them. I was thinking, "why not just name it after the song I liked." And that's how my title came to be. This map I can describe it as Hellish, gothic and monolith from what you can tell in the screenshots below I've taken. I've mix it up with some Doom 2, Gothic, and Doom PSX (firesky skyboxes, fog and color) textures with fogs, lighting to give it a hellish touch onto the level.
