    I'm drinking Stone's Emperial IPA right now. It's so beautiful, I want to cry.

    Hopheads, what are your favorite IPAs? My top 3 are this, Pliny the Elder, and Ruination.

      Someone commented that Emperial IPA is the Ruination of Ruination. I completely agree; it's in a whole new category of bitter and awesome. I have a 6 pack of Ruination in the fridge, but I went and got 6 more bottles of the Emperial.

      I've only had Stone's Pale Ale, IPA, and Arrogant Bastard Ale. Haven't been able to get my hands on the other stuff.

      However, I've had some great Double IPAs from the area: Hop Stoopid and Pliny the Elder. Both of those are nectar of the gods... Beer gods. Firestone IPA was pretty damn good, too.

      I like microbrewery IPA's much more than the mainstream fare. In BC, there are a couple that come to mind: Red Racer IPA is amazing, and also Granville Island's Brockton IPA is very good too. I was not impressed with Hophead IPA; I found it to be very watery, flat beer.
