  1. Quite! A very good fluffy boye and as with all gotes, ideal for hugging. Been obsessed with Adler from Signalis recently, he likes tall women, just like me fr. Manny Calavera, Celso Flores, Sal Limones and Velasco are also pretty good, should play Grim Fandango again.
  2. CG: "I’ll have two number 9s, a number 9 large, a number 6 with extra dip, a number 7, two number 45s, one with cheese, and a large soda."
  3. ugh finally one I can get behind (Or they can get behind me ig hehe) I'll add it to the commission "idiot rattlesnake in dangerous situations" ideas pile As for on-topic, Doom 3 takes place in the same time as the invasion on Phobos n' Deimos, just on Mars itself. The Phobos and Deimos bases were just backwater ones (right?) which why they didn't get as much equipment attention as the Mars base, who, even then were dealing with poorer quality goods. All them different demon types? Hell is probably big enough to send forces/beasts from region X to Phobos and Earth while sending forces/beasts from region Y to just Mars.
  4. I feel like that old radio advertisement with the guy going "THESE THINGS ARE NOT HUMAN!" and "SITUATION NEGATIVE!" really sold old Doom's atmosphere. I would probably kill somebody to get my hands on more wads that really embrace classic Doom's Aliens roots, aside from the TC there's only really, like, Deadmarine which is dead (And also, neat has a redux). I feel a vanilla+ horror-cassette futurism Doom would work wonders.
  5. The comments on the linked video are good for a laugh methinks, people legitimately getting into the turbocringe. NuDoom just feels incredibly dudebro to me, if that makes any sense, especially Eternal.
  6. SIGNALIS. It's... utterly horrible, absolutely painful. I can't stop playing it, it hurts so, so much. I must become one with the King. I must sing in unison once again. Perhaps, this is hell.
  7. Map that just consists of secrets upon secrets all hidden within one secret room. Rest of the level is just fluff, the real meat is in the secretception room.
  8. I've cycled few a handful in the past few years, and my tastes shift every so slightly every time I read them again. Current roster is as follows: Roadside Picnic Metro 2033 Lord of the Rings (And Hobbit/Silmarillion I suppose) The King in Yellow 2010: Second Odyssey Personally I'm leaning towards Roadside Picnic at the moment, proposes a few interesting ideas about alien life without actually describing what they were like at all. That and it inspired one of my favorite game series.
  9. Makeup and Vanity Set are so good at what they do, I hope Brigador Killers comes out this year.
  10. Cascadia brings up... memories. Plane-game related memories. Dust Mother protect ye.
  11. Which one is the mom and which one is the dad? My money's on the pain elemental being the mom, seein' as they're the ones that make the lost souls.
  12. Something I learned somewhat recently is that the chaingun has the same accuracy thing as the pistol. Tap-firing will always be 100% accurate, suppose this is why I've gained a newfound appreciation for the weapon. That and running and gunning zombies/imps with it is too much fun.
  13. "When in doubt, whip it out" by famed 1700s philosopher Christopher Whistopher is sound advice... ...until you try it out in a school, thanks a lot, Chris.
  14. What about dying because of the rocket launcher's safety catch? I think it's killed me more times than it has saved me.
  15. 1) The Youtuber RebelTaxi (Or Pan-Pizza, I've seen it both ways) has introduced me to a lot of music I enjoy. Off the top of my head these are Talkshow Boy, Australian guy who has music that ranges from "My god this is the best song I've ever heard! (Subjective)" (Freaky Teen Fashion), "This is just a whiny love song why am I listening to this?" (Ice Police vs. Love Doctors) and "Computer seizure" (Three Cheers for that Fucking Dickhead Adrian). I consider it comfort music, he is also shockingly still alive and making music. DottiR, the one I've listened to the least. Collaboration between M. Dot Strange and ÝRÝ, so far I've only listened to their tracks Twang and Atonal Atomic Blues, but I do quite like what I've heard so far. Zombi Zoba, which is just head-pounding noise but, hey, I like it somehow. 2) Funnily enough, MyHouse.wad got me listening to the Most Mysterious Song on the Internet. 3) Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain got me into a lot of people from the 80s. Billy Idol, Ultravox, that sorta deal. 4) The game HighFleet got me into Turjan Aylahn's off-kilter discordant style of music, especially Tanc a Lelek. The two are inseparable in my mind. 5) Finally, a whole load of sources have gotten me to listen to the Warsaw Philharmonic. Ranging from Anime (Hellsing Ultimate, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) to plane games (Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War), they do really good stuff and I'm always glad to hear them in media I enjoy.
