Congrats on the release. These mapas looks really cool to play and I'm going to give it a try as soon as possible. <3 -
+1 Real of Chaos: 25th Anniversary Edition. Great remaster by @Cammy of the original RoC by TMT. +1 Schorching Earth by @Astro. +1 Pirate Doom II. The amazing sequel to the famous Pirate Doom TC by @Darch.

These are indeed great WADS. I discovered about it after playing Anomaly Report and I had a Blast, still need to play Eternally Yours tho. There's also QoL patch for Doom Core Trilogy by @Devalaous that allows players to use source ports other than (g)zdoom.

To tell the truth, I started the WAD from pistol start until map 10 then I decided to start again continuously and the experience proved to be much more satisfying and enjoyable for me (although I have no problem playing from pistol start). I particularly enjoyed looking for secrets and exploring the maps, especially map 12: Metropolis due to its large size.

I finally finished the entire WAD on ultra-violent continuous. Quite an experience, well-designed maps with just enough difficulty to keep the gameplay interesting without being frustrating. Amazing work @Astro definitely a must play.

In addition to map progression, the three keys give access to BFG. If I remember correctly you don't need the three keys to get to the normal exit. It's a very large non-linear map and focuses on exploration so it's difficult to remember all the details. I must have spent about an hour and a half or more to complete it to 100%.

Happy birthday Devalaous!

Don't feel bad about it Devalaous. You have done a masterful job treating these old wads and giving them extreme quality for modern days. As you said a few days ago, just one pair of eyes is not enough to check so many details and sometimes something ends up going unnoticed. Keep up the great work.

Congratz on the release Cammy! RoC25 became one of my fav megawads of all time and I will definitely replay this final version soon. Thanks again for the amazing work. -
Hey @Devalaous I noticed somethins while playing in Woof! that the saves do not update the level name while using the the QoL fix. I have the habit of saving at the beginning of the level and normally the save file automatically changes the name according to the map in question: my save title is named "map 01" and when I move to the next map it updates the name to "map 02" when I save again overwriting the slot) but when using the patch this does not happen. The workaround I found was to delete the save then save again so it updates the title with te current map number. In fact, it's something trivial and I don't think it's harmful when it comes to gameplay. I did the test without using the QoL patch and the save names update normally as usual. So far I've noticed this in TNT:Revilution and Memento Mori 2. I have no idea why it happens tho.
