Won't pickup med kits. Here's the command in the desktop launcher "gzdoom -file ZZD_CODBW_FileA_BrutalDoom.pk3 ZZD_CODBW_FileB_HDgraphics.wad ZZD_CODBW_FileC_MainData.wad " in linux mint 20.2. I didn't specify an Iwad because upon launch gzdoom will prompt you with a choice from a menu. So far other aspects of the game appear to be working fine. Is there a setting I'm missing that will affect this behavior?

I noticed with some Windows versions of Duke Nukem 3D mods that there is no group folder, and some subfolders' data is not being utilized in the conversion with the eduke32 version for Linux. I realize this thread is old, but I am hoping to get lucky. What I need is an example of this done with Duke Forces. I already moved the .exe file for windows out of that folder and use the folder as the working directory along the Linux version of eduke32 in the desktop launcher. But it fails to launch with different messages, depending I what method I am trying. One referred to DRM license search timed out if I remember correctly. -

You lumped me into a category of difficult customers that you had to deal with on a help desk. You don't even know me. And if I had to deal with an IT customer service tech who only hears what he expects to hear, I would hang up and call back hoping to get a different rep. That is, if I didn't have to wait again in a half hour call cue to reach someone. You presumed I can easily record a capture, I can't on my system because as I have been told by Windows 10 the hardware requirements aren't there. You said the experience I had was impossible without a conversation about the conditions under which I am running the games. That is simple arrogance, and people with that attitude have been proven wrong on occasion. That's also often famous last words. You and other some other respondents did not even read some of my comments designed to describe the situation and criticized me. One even said I started the insults, when the thread clearly shows that's not the case. This whole thread was a toxic mess. You may have stars on your uniform, but that doesn't mean you are always right.

I talked to others and they understood it clearly. I guess it depends on the audience. I've always admit my ignorance. Otherwise, I wouldn't spend as much time as I do researching articles and forums if I didn't. Am I arrogant about my knowledge of logic, to a point yes. But I have the academic credentials, and accomplishments to back it up. Most people who accuse me of being illogical it is because they don't know how to think critically. You made a lot of assumptions and Argumentum ad Hominem and Argumentum ad Verecundiam fallacies when I never argued with the developers, but only ask questions or made statements of fact in which a clarification was needed and made. Your list of relevant aspects in a video was flawed, but I didn't have the time to address them one by one. The answers should have been a list of things I should look into and consider concerning this issue. And the lack of documentation available to users has been a big problem with software for about three decades. I started off in the 8-bit processors days when you stored programs on tapes, and I actually used a punch card reader for a course I took in Fortan, and all this was before you were even a moment of lustful activity between your parents. We had good documentation then, because hard copy was still the custom. Most software now is not user-friendly, coders too often rely on short instructions with jargon the user might not understand. In conclusion, we now have a gaming community that has accumulated knowledge haphazardly through years of playing giving the impression that nothing needs to be documented (not talking about the history of the game) in an organized fashion with an outline that actually lives up to its headings when read further. I greatly enjoy playing Doom games, but I do not enjoy the ridiculous extents I have to go through to get information about the game, and it's modding tools such as UDB without using only tutorials on video (Thanks to the hardworking content creators that I even have that.), but because much that was written is dated now or incomplete.

Nobody explained to me what they expected to seee out of a capture of an example that is going to take a lot of time, and all I will get is conjectures that have nothing to do with the clip, other than they'll say to themselves "I see what he means.". I did not do a save that part of the level, and Doom 64 does not do autosaves. The only reason I shared it on this forum is to see if somebody had any possible explanations handy. Apparently, some people are challenged in reading comprehension and logic. NOT ONE PERSON EXPLAINED WHAT THEY EXPECTED TO GARNER INFORMATION WISE FROM A CAPTURE THAT WOULD REQUIRE ME TO PLAY UP TO THAT LEVEL AGAIN just to see what I have already explained. Instead, I GET LAME INSULTS from people who are more interested in trolling than reading. I AM SORRY I EVEN MENTIONED THE PROBLEM IN THIS FORUM.

That it runs a tad too fast on my machine specifically (or exclusively) is my conclusion, not the reason I posted. Twilight zone is right. I am going to use diagnostic software to check something suggested by another party, and that's what I meant when I wrote the answers aren't here.

Wait a minute. Did you write slightly. I have sent in captures in the past when they were helpful. What part of my explanation don't you understand? It's stated very simply and please don't insult me when you're obviously not reading all of my comments.

No, it won't. I'll have to go back to that level all to record two targets being shot and the platforms rising incredibly fast. There's no thousand words in that picture. The problem I believe is that some games run a tad too fast on my machine, and that's what I am researching.

Trust me there is nothing to see, and Big Mac Davis had more time than I had in his video. What do you expect to see? Slow reaction time? With the time he had my character would had to have been on crutches not to make it to the platform.
