  1. In Duke Nukem 3d there are some scripted events where the building would demolish (lower to floor) with earthquake and explosion at the base of the structure accompanying it. As seen in e1m2 Red light district. So, can somebody provide me with an acs (or fraggle) script that is viable to do the same task in doom? http://legacy.3drealms.com/duke3d/walkthrough/e1m2.html
  2. 14 and a half, going to be 15 next January
  3. Thanks for your answer, but I'm still in limbo as to how that program actually works... maybe someone more knowledgeable than me could reverse engineer that exe and find the source code? Also, can i make my own exe like that for 32 or 64 bit systems to modify the placement of any monster in each playthrough??
  4. So, if you've ever played the eternal doom megawad (released in 1996 by teamTNT), then you have probably come across that wads infamous map, aka map 33 cybersweeper. That map recreated Minesweeper in vanilla doom and with that wad, came included a little utility called rancy.exe https://doomwiki.org/wiki/MAP33:_CyberSweeper_(Eternal_Doom) which was used to randomize the placement of cyberdemon in each subsequent playthrough. So, my question here is how that program worked, and being available for vanilla doom meant that before the release of the doom source code, I guess that program was probably a nifty exe hack? Idk. Also I'm unable to run that program by myself as it refuses to run in windows 7 or 10 (because it's a 16 bit exe)
  5. True dat. Also a massive L move by okuplok on his channel abandoning decision, would have loved to see more maps from him.
  6. Some of these stuff I already knew thanks to the excellent videos by decino.
  7. They both are my favourite sector effects, just for messing with players...
  8. For me it was a door that instantly disappears after hitting a switch,it worked by using control sectors outside the playable area, saw it in some wads I played which dated back to 1997-1998. Or, invinsible platforms like the one seen in doomsday of UAC (1994)
  9. Also, sometimes the archville attack could possibly crash the game...
  10. This is a very crappy joke map i put together the previous night cause I was frustrated trying to make a monster filled room for teleportation.., Got an idea to use monster spawner cube for that work, and the result is this wad. Music from rise of the triad CIRCLE STRAFIN.zip
  11. It was my plan to prevent monster infighting. Also, thanks for taking your time to play this map, much appreciated
