  2. Hello, this is a TC project I've been working on and off for the last year. I finally finished a stage to serve as sort of a proof of concept. What I'll do with the project from this point forward I'm not so sure. Depends on what type of interest it draws. I would definitely need some level designers to continue it though. Level building is a very slow and difficult process for me that doesn't come as natural as working on the other aspects. FEATURES: - 16 new enemies - Lots of ZScript coding effects for the enemies and items. - An inventory system that combines Heretic and Duke Nukem style items - Custom shader effects for various sprites and textures - 3D models for the static decorations (All enemies use prerendered sprites). - No bullet type hitscans IMPORTANT NOTES: - For GZDoom only. Works with the DOOMs, FreeDooms, and Heretic, though do not expect any noticeable difference in gameplay. - Software Render mode will not work properly with this TC, due to the use of shaders and models for the static decorations. - The Alt Fire button functions as a "Quick Kick" melee attack that can be used with any weapon. - The are more options for hotkeys and feature toggles in the Options menus - Uses the inventory system - The level is setup for jumping.   4. Some more preview shots of my TC. All enemies are coded in now. I just got to populate and playtest the demo map.
  5. After a few month hiatus I've have resumed work on the demo for my TC project. The basic layout of the level is complete now. I just have to code in another enemy and populate the level. Hopefully a release will be ready before July:

  8. Alright, I compiled a level wad for the project (7 submissions in total). Going to playtest it. If all goes well expect the 1.0 version of MEDB Madness to be released tonight.

  10. I'm a big enthusiast of classic arcade and pinball machines. Lucky for me there are two decent barcades within a short driving distance from me. I'm also only about a 5 hour drive away from the Galloping Ghost, the world's largest public collection of arcade machines. Probably my favorite era for both arcade and pinball is the late 80s through early 90s. Next time I'm at the Ghost I need to do a full playthrough of Black Tiger. Also despite living in the dead center of America I haven't ate at a McDonald's since 2019. Its a streak I intend to keep going for as a long as possible.
  11. Not counting food I last purchased a 28 inch monitor. Its only 2K resolution, but I was more concerned about making sure it had excellent refresh rate/low latency.
  12. I'm putting a lot of ZScript stuff into my TC. That includes stuff like an inventory system that is a hybrid of Heretic's and Duke Nukem's. Also there are no "hitscan bullet" attacks to worry about: I'm also using 3D models for most of the static decorations.
